BEST CAPACITOR IN HVAC??? Bonus Interview With The Manufacturer

Фильм және анимация

Here I talk about the Armada Turbo200 capacitor line. I then have an interview with the VP of sales from the manufacturer. I like using high quality products and you should too. I explain why I like the product and I myself gain some knowledge and hopefully you do too.

I use them all the time, I only keep 35/5, 45/5, 45/7.7 in the truck . Turbos are a bit pricey but for a call with a weird size like a 60/5 I am lucky I have something for that situation.

Really have the wheels spinning in my brain. Definitely worth considering adding it to my truck and possibly start by offering both options. For the cheap people that don't understand value, they can go with the less expensive option.

I love the Amrad stuff. I keep a lot of the regular caps but I love to keep a few of the muti caps just in case. I use plumbers strap for mounting.

Now, if we can get some Amrad REFRIGERANT, we’ll be in good shape! Refrigerant takes up more space/more weight now and will definitely take up more space after January 1, 2025.

The Amrad capacitors that I’ve used last 10+ years. Only one failure. My issues are the size and price. I stock the mars premium models for most and one of those Amrad turbo 200 for backup.

I was wondering if you connect the L to one terminal and the N to the other side

Are you referring to a 120V system? Like line and neutral?

I just wish they had a perfect 5mfd option. I haven’t looked in a while but They are usually like 4 or 6 but not a perfect 5

Those things are $50-$75 each vs $10-$15 for normal capacitors. Have to charge more or lose profit, not practical. I keep 2 of each regular cap up to 60/10 with 3 of the more common 30,35,40,45/5 and a few /7.5, I do keep one t200 for an emergency situation, but having to replace a $70 capacitor everytime I use one makes no sense. Unless you are charging $400 to change a capacitor.
