We have been to Luxury RV for 15+ years....absolutely LOVE IT!!!!

I also had the pleasure of recently staying in the Gulf Shores area. Decided to visit many rv parks in the area. While I agree this park is close to the beach and other businesses I found the sites way too close together, no shrubs or grass between sites. Amenities are nice but pretty much the standard in this area. We felt the high price was not really justified. Gulf State Park is gold standard in this area.

Well done on the information about the resort, we're going to be booking a spot for the summer now.

Oh, that white sand beach! Throw in some grilled oysters, and it sounds like perfection!

This is a great park to come too! Love that sandy beach. That park is great especially with the washer dryers. Nice fire pit too. Thus park is on my list to go there for sure. Thank you Patrick and Patty. See you both soon!

We stay every year but last year lost camper in hurricane sally but bought another one and going back in August. The hurricane really messed up the park but it looks great now so glad they are back up and running great place and thanks for the film

It was great being in walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. We had never been to Gulf Shores before but we will definitely be going back.

Very nice resort. Seems like campgrounds with clean bathrooms generally have nice grounds and are organized. Sounds like this campground packs a lot of activities in.

This is an absolutely amazing RV location! We were there a couple of weeks ago. We too had a site to the back, which made it nice to walk the dog.

We really enjoyed it there and will be going back. It’s a great location and a nice small park with big park amenities.

This RV resort is on our short list, especially since the commute from New Orleans is so short. If you like this resort, I implore y'all to check out the Santa Rosa RV resort in Navarre Beach, FL. With only 88 spots, 26 or so which are on the Santa Rosa Sound with your door less than 40 feet from the water, this place is meticulously clean and landscaped. We just went and loved it.

Gulf Shore state park is also a great locations, right across the street from the beach. It has a lot of amenities and miles of trails. Great place to go look for alligators.

We have head that it is wonderful too. We tried to get a reservation but they were full when we booked. Maybe we will try that next time.

I believe it is a privately owned park. I do think the owner also has a 2nd park in the area.

Last time I was there my dog kept getting sand spurs on the bottom of his paws. Great location though

I stayed there and at Gulf State Park - Gulf State Park much better--- have to reserve 12 months out

Gulf State Park is nice but there is a LOT of vehicle traffic, bicycles and kids everywhere, especially in the camping loops. With nearly 500 hundred campsites, It can take 45 mins or more to get to your site from the front gate if you hit one of the "rush hours". I prefer smaller parks

So this is more like a short term, campground type of place, as opposed to long-term RV, living, correct?

Yes….when we were there it was nightly spots.

The spots look really close to each other. I don’t know if I will call that luxury.

We really enjoyed it. You may prefer the state park on down the road. We liked being able to walk to the beach, restaurants etc. we have been in campgrounds that are much tighter.

What is the daily cost to stay there?

We paid $500 for 6 nights including tax over the Easter holiday weekend.

We paid $83 with tax per night during the spring break season.

Do they have any restrictions on age or length of RV? I have a 16’ T@b 320 S. I know some private parks won’t allow less than 25’ to keep out the poors. 🙄

I don't know about age but I don't think length because our friends had a Little Guy Max and we saw a T@B 400 there as well. The funny thing is your T@B 320 probably cost more than some 25' trailers on the market! LOL

Looks to me they're packed in like sardines and NO shade.

Avoid the same namesake on Mustang Island in Texas. It’s operated by some really lazy and awful people.

We had the unfortunate experience of staying in this rv park. We decided to try this place because this video had a lot of positive things to say about it. Based on our experience this week, I highly suggest you DO NOT stay at this place. The state park looked much nicer.

I wonder what has changed since we stayed back in 2019. I’m sorry to hear that. We really loved it when we were there. We tried the state park in 2021 and did not care for it.

ZERO shade trees on the sites and it is expen$ive! Nothing luxurious about it.
