I hope you're still loving your 16-footer. We have had a 16-foot bunkhouse for about 3 years. I am thinking that about 4 more feet and possibly a slide might be perfect for us. We are a recently retired couple who want to switch from weekenders to part-timers.

FYI Smokey the Bear was in New Mexico! He was a baby bear who was found burned and orphaned after a forest fire, he was rescued, brought back to good health and became an icon in the 1950's to alert campers to the dangers of unattended fires.

Thanks for discussing pet's and how they could be caught by the slides and possibly badly hurt/or killed when closing the slide. This is a critical subject that isn't discussed for some reason. Our kitty Onions is always secured in the truck when working the slide.

That grade you went up I think was I-26 called the Saluda Grade. It’s really “fun” coming back down. This is where the diesel exhaust brake is worth it’s weight in gold. Y’all stay safe!

Yep, the world famous Saluda Grade. Lots of wrecks happen going down that hill, especially large trucks and semi’s! I live just a few miles from there and we travel I-26 quite frequently.

I l9ve the fact that ya'll are in the Smoky Mountains. My wife and I love it up there and we go every chance we get. It is beautiful and relaxing and so much to do that doesn't cost anything but some time.there are trails to hike, Cades Cove to drive through and waterfalls to see. Enjoy relax and have a good time.

Wow Nae went there, a "cat-astrophe" what a pun while delivering some all important pet tips during preflight close out procedures! Seriously though, Tanks Hanks for another great video in one of the most beautiful places East of the Rockies and West of The Florida Keys! Be safe guys and please pet Dexter for me!

Hey there goes Nay Nay handling that RV like a champ in those mountains. Kyle /Carl gave great advice on the downhill towing, let the Jake brake do most of the work and you just pat the brake when you notice you gain to much speed. Congratulations on 5 years full time RVing. I have been checking for RV camping areas near or in Pigeon Forge and Now I know #THANKSHANKS. Safe travels.

I live in the mountains close to Gatlinburg, actually closer to Cherokee NC. I've camped all over these mountains of NC and east Tennessee. You guys back safe and I enjoy watching your videos.

Great job going up that mountain NeyNey!! I did it in a car and it scared the crap out of me!!! I just love Dexters little meow!! Will have to look up the campground! #ThanksHanks! ❤️❤️❤️

First time we drove up that mountain with an rv we had an older 1/2 truck and it maxed out at 35MPH…so y’all are doing great!! We just laugh now that we have a good 3/4 truck and 5th wheel Reflection it’s a whole new world for us on travel days!

Proud of NayNay for driving in the mountains. As a truck driver my only suggestion is, when going down hill put the transmission in a lower gear so it'll help the exhaust brake to slow your rig down and save your brakes. You should only have to tap your brakes occasionally. My wife and me are planning on selling our house and going full time next year when I retire. Hopefully we'll see y'all out there. Thanks Lavon

7yrs ago went on my honeymoon in a Cabin right behind the Island there....love this place...lol I'm 56 now and didn't know my license was expired they wouldn't serve me a mixed drink....like I looked under age

Love watching you guys. We have stayed at Creekside 2 times and really like the campgrounds. It is very convenient to all the attractions. And the people are always friendly.

Funny part, when you said to go restock on items not used and tossed. I was like Nooooooo. Then Carl said we said no and made me do a double take. Can you see and hear us? It's ok if so, I dont bring phone into private times so we good. Love you guys, we never miss a Thursday. We even go back and watch from beginning from time to time when nothing on tv. Stay safe.

We used to let the cat sit up front and she would look out the passenger side window and at every stop light she would always have an audence with people in other cars. The last time we were there was June 2021 and even with covid it was packed, we had a great time. Make sure you spend time in the national park that is our favorite thing to do in that area.

Congrats on 5 years!!! We are also hitting the 5 year mark of snowbirding in AZ in a class C motorhome. Watching you crazy kids traveling all over is making me want to travel more in the summer. We live in a RV resort all summer(in a park model though). If you ever want to hit up Minnesota in the summer or fall it's a great place to be!!!
