💥💥💥💥Excellent and easy to understand tutorial. You demonstrated the fundamentals of learning the interface of any editing program. If you don't know what a slider does, move it all the way to the maximum and all the way to the minimum and you will learn how it affects the photograph. Thank you for explaining your workflow. I'll be using your methods from now on. Well explained, good Sir!! Bravo!
I'm convinced you have a magic touch for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.

Very cool! Good job and beautiful photo! I love it !
Amazing! I didn’t know good cell phones, an iPhone in this case, could generate such a good image. As it happens, my iPhone 15 pro max arrives from Apple today! I’m getting it as an upgrade from my Pro 11, but also for the improved camera to use on an upcoming trip touring the Great Lakes in North America so I won’t need to take my regular camera gear. Your video really reinforces this decision. Let me note that I have been an astrophotographer in just about all of the sub genres (DSO, planetary, lunar, solar, Milky Way) for the past 9 years, and my first attempt at the Milky Way core won the dpreview Milky Way challenge back in 2015. Beginners luck, I guess. Anyway, with this amount of experience, I’ve very impressed with your image and how simple the editing was in Lightroom. I should also mention that I love windmills, but they are really hard to find in the USA, even in rural areas.

Hi! Love your videos, so informative. Will there be an Honor Magic V2 camera/night mode test by any chance? I am really curious.
Nice. Did you upload them?
Really good and short explanation of the best and easiest way to get great results! 😁👍🏼 And Echuca! I visited Australia 30 years ago and visited a girl in Echuca and we went water skiing on the river (that Runs Wild if you your old enough to know what that means) 😂

I think vertical works better. It gives a better perspective of how small the windmill is compared with the Milky Way
I can’t wait for some clear skies to get out and shoot with my 15 Pro Max

Shayne, is there anyone you know who specializes on iPhone or phone portrait photography at the fashion, classic film like photography level?
I expected to see you use the Even Longer app to set up a 15-20 second exposure. It looks like Night Mode is all you needed.

Night Mode is still the absolute best for this type of shot

that is great .but How can I capture timelapse on iPhone for the Milky Way?.an free app for Intervalo On iPhone
@ShayneMostyn

There isnt one mate. You can capture multiple images with Even Longer and use the intervalometer on that app, but then you will need to put them into a video editor to create timelapse

You probably don’t have alot of light pollution where you live right ? I live in a bortle 4 region so it’s not too bad, but also not great :(

At a bortle 4 region you could probably get closer to places with lower light pollution. Maybe check out a light pollution map online. I live at a bortle 7 region and there were bortle 2-3 regions a couple hours away, maybe 1 hr 30 mins? But there was no light there since it was a campground, so it could’ve been bortle 1. The map is not always fully accurate/up to date I think but it’s a good place to start. Rural areas are good too.
