Picture yourself celebrating a wedding while dancing and sipping on mezcal in front of a whole town?? This is exactly what the tradition entails in the Guanajuato region and this one , specifically, in San Miguel de Allende. The guest are invited in a "parade" to celebrate with the groom and bride while dancing to the vibrant music of banda, mariachi or estudiantinas (typical of the region). This is by far one of the most vibrant wedding traditions I've ever known and one to be a part of!
