I'm about be 6 years and this hit me emotional because I still love DNC from basic training like that and with me being an NCO watching her in that video shows how building that teamwork and relationship with soldiers means alot. You call this cadence calling ? Sounds like an itty bitty chicken cackling . Is this kindergarten or the US Army ? Do all the boys and girl have high heels on - including the drill sergeant ? The drill sergeant is nicer than a kindergarten teacher - isn't he - or she or whatever it is ? Half the time the cadence started BEFORE the left foot planted . In 1975 at Fort Jackson, when ANYONE messed up - EVERYONE had to drop to the front leaning rest position and do 10 4 count push ups while the drill sergeant was screaming at the person who messed up so everyone would know who it was . I NEVER heard a drill sergeant miss a beat and he ALWAYS started the cadence call EXACTLY on the plant of the left foot . The drill sergeants back then were perfectionist and they required perfection from everyone else .

@@carolpearson6179 Point taken - I must add that shooting well is only a VERY small part of being a soldier and I contend that everything else combines to be more advantageous / detrimental to the overall preparedness / capability of a soldier than the simple single act of shooting . e. g. friendly fire accidents and failed strategies / executions and non-compliance issues . I know you know that - and you chose that one point as something to mention . My point is that even if they can shoot well, I don't think that they are benefiting from the radical changes that have come about in training and interpersonal relations etc . Just an opinion - I cannot provide documentation ... BTW - I was born in the San Diego Naval Hospital . The Army breached my contract and I went into the Navy and was a computer In-flight tech AX on P3-C Patrol Aircraft . Back then the computer was loaded via 10 inch tape reels . I can still barely fit into my flight suit - and I was pretty skinny back then .

I had a junior high history teacher, whose first introduction to his students on the first day was a message written on the chalkboard. "Ignorance is the enemy, whose side are you on?" Always stuck with me to this day. Anyway back to story. I heard that he made his students go out and march. I was like what the hell? Well, yes he did. It was such a huge cluster f**k hahaha. But with time he could get us to march...a bunch of immature 13 year old kids!!! Nothing even close to this, but at least sort of, maybe, straight rows. The time that went into this must be insane!! This was truly amazing to watch and brought back memories of over 40 years ago. To get people to be one, working together as one. Amazing.

What most civilians don't understand is that cadence calling is not actually rooted in singing. It is about keeping the soldiers, sailors and air force personnel in step, working as one. True cadence calling is what you see in this video. All the other videos you watch are additions to the basic cadence that helps motivate the service members. But true cadence is rooted in calling the movement commands as shown in this video.

another one of the few and far between that gets it - I am certain that you know what pronouns you were born with and how to use them ... They think this is good cadence calling ? There is no freedom and no bravery in the USA . The pervs and fascist / socialist are now mur derring bay bees and censoring godly communications The USA was strong when it started and only as long as the people here remained faithful to the bible and worshiped God and His Son Jesus Christ . That is how this nation became great . Now it is not true . This nation hates God and mer durs bay bees in their mo mees be llees . The government hates God and almost no one cares about Jesus Christ any more . So now you see the USA is going to hell very fast . All the perverts are trying to get our children to be perverted .
