Best bush camp in East Arnhem Land! Memorial Park Campground - paradise!

How time flies! In this episode we document our final three weeks in East Arnhem Land, so sad to be leaving but also super excited to be picking up our van again and getting back on the road. We start the episode back in Rainbow Cliffs campground just outside of Nhulunbuy, then head to Gapuru, (Memorial Park). This is some next level East Arnhem Land camping, Gapuru or Memorial Park Campgrounds has to be in our top 5 since we started out journey over two and a half years ago. There is only one campsite that you book, and once booked, you have the entire place to yourself!! No day trippers, nothing, it is simply amazing! Spent a weekend at Memorial Park Campgrounds and we could have spent a week. A place to heal ones soul… In our final week we took the kids out in the boat for one final fish and did some early morning exploring around the local beaches… Enjoy!

Safe travels..

Amazing. We always feel very inspired by your videos and thank you for showcasing a part of our country that most caravanners never see. Safe travels.

Thanks Zoe, we live in a pretty amazing country. I think it would take a dozen lifetimes to see all of it! 😀👍

@@VetinaVan There is a real presence in remote country, it is the power that Aboriginal people feel. Thanks again

That’s a pity we missed all the good footage 😢 but hey what you still had was sort of okay 😂🤣 👍Just like to thank you Marcus & Tania & kids for showing us or allowing us to see a small part of a culture and an area of Australia very few people get to see. Did hurt seeing all that sun while farming a wet & cold winter on the SW coast of Vic 👨🏻‍🌾 safe travels

Yeh mate, i did try and dive for it. Was very deep, pitch black and then i got to the bottom there was a tree and what felt like 30 = 40cm of soft organic base, leaves etc. Would have been a needle in a haystack!
