Hope you liked this review! If you want any help choosing a padel racket you can contact me via the website and I will try and reply as soon as possible. All of these rackets are available at my online padel store too! everythingpadel.co.uk/padel-rackets/ The K2 power, is a carry over from 2023, as all the beginner models are, but I wanted to include a beginner model in this list.

Thanks mate, very informative and helpful! 🙌 Would love to see such vids on other brands if possible. Also wondering, do you have any guidelines on how to tell one's level (esp the intermediate range - pre/early/upper/etc) and when it might be time to try new "level" of rackets? Cheers 😊

I prefer to go for Control-type rackets because power is not my main concern. Unless you play really high level, the players who make the fewest mistakes usually win. I've played with a Bullpadel Argo.20 low balance racket for a year now and am now upgrading to the Ionic CTRL, which has the same features, but MultiEva instead of SoftEva. I find it quite hard to change brands. Tried some of the Nox rackets, some of the Siux rackets, but sometimes it's better to stick to what you know.

The K2 Power on your website looks different from what you have in the video. I can only find the ones on your website in other webshops to. Was this a pre-production racket or something?

Thanks Ewan, interesting video as always! I have had a bit of a shine towards Bullpadel, but having been through 6 rackets to find my current one I am reluctant to change path. I have gone through Nox AT10 Genious 18K 2022 (too soft), Nox Mapi 2022 (much too soft), Tactical Padel Black Katana (totally unplayable to me), Nox Tempo 2022 (actually really good), Varlion Summum Prisma Radio W (wanted something firmer, really good, but too head heavy), and am now playing with the Nox AT.2 Genius LTD 2023 Limited Edition. The AT.2 is the combination of everything for me, 18K surface like the AT10 (which has the HR Core) and the Black Eva core like the Tempo (which has 12K). Having played tennis for more than 40 years I grew accustomed to a firmer feel, always had a somewhat high tension in the racket. Now... I notice that Bullpadel consequently in their upper models use 3K carbon. From stories of Nox I heard that Agustin Tapia complained that he felt that his 12K racket started feeling a bit soft during summertime, which made Nox recommend that he use an 18K model instead. It doesn't get that hot where I live, but it makes me think whether at all I should in the future consider e.g Bullpadel with "a lot less" carbon, would that mean that their rackets are softer in general? Having also heard that Nox's rackets are a bit softer that most others I wonder how much that xK carbon really means.

Nox used to have inverse hardness as per K number. Normally lower is stiffer but Nox pre 2024 versions 12k was softer than 18k. On the newest models 12k is now harder than the 18k alum

@@tasik94 Wow, that is really confusing :-) So Bullpadel's 3K is actually quite hard then, which would make sense, top of the line rackets are normally not soft. Thanks!

@@kimpetersen8449Also coming from tennis and high tension strings, a little while back I treated myself to an Adidas Metalbone HRD and I love it. I’m by no means an Ale Galán in the overhead game, but the racket has a lovely feel and you really don’t have to put a lot into it to get a good speed on the ball, also from the back of the court. It also lobs wonderfully and effortlessly.

How does the Decathlon 990 Hybrid Soft (blue/black colour) compare to the Bullpadel Hybrid Vertex 2024 version? I started playing few months back - currently at Beginner +/early intermediate level. I want to keep playing regularly and need to make an investment for long-term. Currently I am using a beginner Head Flash Yellow/Grey racket. I don’t have/use a lot of power like advance players hence I want to focus much more on direction/precision of my shots and slicing but still having enough power to smash once in a while when on net. Please suggest which one of these will be a better racket? I live in Middle East and play indoors almost most of the year.

@@EverythingPadel What about the vertex comfort of Di Neno compared to the vertex hybrid, in terms of control and power? I'm curious, in particular because the comfort version is diamond shaped and the hybrid version isn't. Which one do you suggest to a more tactical/control focused right player?

The main benefit of changing is the new 04 models have the Curv Activ technology, it makes the racket more manoeuvrable and faster swing.

Hack 03 Hybrid: 9/10 Looks, 1/10 Play It’s soulless and virtually unplayable…i think the mix of technologies work against one another, there is zero power and control is highly questionable as there is no feel or return through the racket. STAY CLEAR
