@mspider12 the IR light source aimed away from the camera is reflected back so the camera sees what is there but a camera looking at an IR light source can be whited/washed out,,, anyone approaching my place using IR night vision would trigger the cctv and IR flood lights and be caught on camera as well as temporarily blinded like a camera flash/strobe 10-30 seconds and with luck their devices shut down for however long they reset 3-30 seconds

I found this thing called an eyeclops at a thrift store, I immediately knew what it was and took it off the shelf, I paid $2.95 for it took it home cleaned it up and put batteries in it, it works fine and although it's considered a toy it's still does a good job.
Just got my set of these. I am impressed. Purchased because of this video and not disappointed. Thanks for the great info.

I appreciate the time and effort that you put into this video. I purchased a head mounted set of nvg from Amazon they work well. Decided to go helmet mount got an affordable air soft bump. Did not have a clue on how to mount it. I paid attention to your video and got the parts that I needed. A very well put together instructional video. Once again thank you very much.
Just bought one. It's decent. The rubber part that is supposed to cover your eyes is not cut correctly so I have to trim that to fit my face. It's harder to see thing up close (5 feet) than seeing things further away with this device. The multiple IR levels are nice.

I was so frustrated because I couldn't find an adapter for those exact night vision until this video. Thanks man!
I bought a firefield 4*50 gen 1 tube for 100usd, PRETTY GOOD. Its pretty good, same approach to the mounting (although i will buy an nvg mount as those run with the same 1/4 screw) Same issue, while the magnification is ok for field use, its hard for cqb. If only a company would make a no power tube/visor, i bet a ton of airsofters would run to get them. Airsofters already spend 100s of usd for guns and equipments Specially propper analog tubes. Gen 1 ones are exportable (not controlled by itar) cheap and modern ones are pretty good. Same with digital ones. But digital frankly is not there yet for me
Just ordered mine thank you for the review
To anyone who has actual NVGs, you using yours looks like a Q-beam flashlight at night, you can see this from literally a mile away because your "NVGs" use an IR illuminator and theirs are passive. Theirs have an active feature like this as well, but they don't use it if they want to stay hidden.
Could you recommend a Amazon (Prime) helmet that would work with the NightFox 110R ?

This is almost what I've been looking for... I live above you in Lenoir and we have a terrible coyote problem! They come through here about every 6 months killing all the small game plus any dog or cat not locked up in the house!!! Would love to have a 1 or 2 times version of this product, living in the mountains 100 yards is about as far as I'd ever need, and closer to 50 yards would be ideal due to foliage, trees, etc... I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these folks!!! :-) Thank you Mr 704!!!

I've had problems with those rubberized coatings in the past. Sometimes they start breaking down for some reason, become sticky and start peeling off...what a mess. I don't know if it's a material quality issue or not. I don't use any kind of chemical cleaners on them either; just a cloth dampened with water. I tend to shy away from devices with these coatings now.

Yeah, that happened to my skiing helmet... Used it and then stored it for a year, when I got it out again it was sticky and had destroyed the padding of some goggles that were stored in the same box.
