So many people say “I can’t spend $300 on a knife” and then turn around and buy 8 $50 knives (I’ve fallen into this category too many times). It’s truly an awesome time though that there are so many ridiculously good options at these lower price points!

Guilty as charged 😆. But I go deeper and buy many $16 to $40 knives. The sencuts, ganzos, sitiviens and eafangrows give you real great values for collecting and real day use. I look at what people call budget knives ( to me a call knives) as the buck knife of my youth in the 60s. They are nostalgic and collectable quality tools. Appreciate them while using them.😆

@send$lawyers$guns&money I would definitely recommend the PF818. There aren't many knives that can match it for under the $30 price point.
Civivi Praxis is my go to! I’ve started buying them as gifts 🤣
The Adimante by ganzo was a favorite for a while . I had two and gave one away and he s still carrying the blue one . Says he loves it . I like mine but went and spent more $ but it’s still a cool snappy flipper .
I liked the Predator so much I bought two of them. Excellent quality and great deal. I’m really liking that smaller PF Beluga in 14c28n. I took your advice a few months ago and picked up the Sencut Actium, and can’t believe the quality. Thanks for the look at all these. 👍
I really enjoyed this video on good budget knives. I love the Sencut and the Ganzo button locks. I have a Civivi Praxis with the Damascus blade and really love the full size feel and beautiful blade $72 It is hard to beat CIVIVI! After carrying for a year I totally agree 👍
Great video brother thank you!
Always enjoy your informative reviews…….!
I have a Civivi Elementum button lock, and you're right. It's fantastic.
Amazing list. They are all awesome especially sencut, civivi, kubey, PF.
Have you ever seen a knife and just fell in love 🥰 great video sir
Ganzo has some great 440c and d2 blades for under 30. Amazing for a "throwaway" knife.

Excellent video, Jerad. You helped to convince me to buy both the Civivi Praxis and Civivi Praxis mini. They are fantastic knives, possibly the best quality knives I own - to me they are flawless.

you are right on with the praxis. I've had it since it first came out. I've been looking for a smaller first pocket knife for a buddy. If the mini is what I think it will be, I'll be getting one for him. Although, I do wish they stuck with the 9cr.
Neeves you got to do a best budget knives made in the USA!
You should add the Buck 744 and 743 Sovereign to this list. It’s a great strong knife with button lock for under 40$. Little thicker blade, but her that just makes it stronger.
I chose the CJRB Pyrite for my budget edc
Should of done the ruike p801 instead of the one you did. Best budget knife I’ve ever had hands down for $30. SS scales, deep carry clip, 14c28n , full flat grind on bearings.
I just love cheaper knives I can get one of each. Most of these I have and they great knives to give to someone who is just starting Out.
I would love a video like this for value, not budget. Which brand offers the best value for your money? Like... TwoSun has been a strong contender a while back. But they have jumped in price also.

Would be interested in the Mini Praxis, if I did not already have the Civivi Pintail in S35VN, or the Sencut Sachse. These are essentially the exact same shape as the Praxis, just without the choil and the same size the Mini Praxis will be.
The Sencut watuaga comes out on Amazon Dec 1st and looks like it's $80 ! Ouch! I'll stick with the Sachse.

Some great companies that are offering well made products for relatively little money especially when you consider money vs performance. Many of my knives are in this price range and I enjoy them just as much as my $150 plus knives. For many this is the perfect price range as well a $50 or less knife in 14C28N that is going to get the crap beat out of it anyway on a worksite and is easy to replace might be a better option than a $200 or more investment because you'll have to sharpen it at the end of the day no matter what. Plus the only option for some is to buy an ok knife twice a year as compared to one every couple of years, it's affordability in the end for some but still want to scratch an itch every so often and get something new and shiny. Some other good brands out there as well such as SRM. and keep an eye on others that offer discounts on discontinued products such as getting a $100 one but paying less than $50 if your willing to catch sales. Secondary is also an option but be careful of scammers out there. Thanks for the great vid Jerad and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

This i a question I just posted on another channel and pasted here. Do you have any advice or thoughts on this? I mean I have lots of Ganzos that look like this knife and they are great and cost $18 to $28 dollars. I mean at 50 to 60 dollars kizer is just killing it. I have 5 of those. I only have a few Knives that over 100 dollars and 4 in the 300 plus range. I guess I am asking, should I stop buying the $50 plus knives because they almost all look the same this fall, the economy I think influence ) and just buy 200 or 300 dollar knives. I think ganzo, eafengrow , setivien and sencut have spoiled me. They all make good to great knives at 40 dollars and below. 60 to 100 plus aren't that much better. There are exceptions of course. I only have about 60 knives, so I was just wondering what you think or what the community thinks. I have one civivi, a few cold steels, kizers, one hinderer fixed, one shieldon, one Loveless, one Randall, one BPS, a few Spydercos, one Buck fixed; to name the brands that I have. Any suggestions. @leodegas7731
Жыл бұрын
@@DullPoints hi Chase. I only have three titanium knives. I bought them just to say I have some titanium knives 🤣🤣. Just consider the snail trail effect. Maybe don't buy a all flat scale knife like my kizer guru. I love all three for different reasons. My eafengrow one is huge and looks like art deco art. It's Eafengrow EF902. This is the only one I use to really work with. Its inexpensive compared to others. It was only $70 with D2 steel. My friend needed some branches cut down. They were about as round a thumb and the knife took them down easily. I have a kizer guru that is another piece of art and a really awesome, unique feeling deployment. One of the best feels I have in a knife BUT I have 1 snail trail on it already. That one stays in my knife case. I did take it in my pocket for the first week I had it.🤣🤣🤣 I took it out last night to deploy it for a while. It feels great. My third one is a Reate that is titanium and a wood looking micarta. If I may be honest, I bought that one on a open box sale, White mountain. God was with me on this one. The deployment on that knife is on par with the guru. It's beautiful and since it's micarta and titanium, it pops more as far as looks. I just checked and the eafengrow is not available on Amazon right now. Or else I would have said grab it now. I think they still have other styles tho. In truth, I can't say which is my favorite because they all fit a different catagory in my collection. One is a real user. One is artful ( I paint and work with clay), and the other is a mixture of two handle materials, also it fits in the, kind of expensive knife catagory. It's called Mini crossroad( $350). If you use your knife like I do. Get the eafengrow. If you want beauty and feel, go for the best you can afford and buy a Reate or a custom. But if you want a great knife on the lower end but not a budget brand, kizer is the best bang for the buck. Maybe civivi but they almost all look the same. But I haven't looked at their ti models, but they are getting up there in price. I don't think that helped a lot. I type too much. Sorry 😐. Take care and these are all I have in the titanium. Peace and God bless, ✌️🦁 PS. I didn't answer your first question. I guess my favorite knife is my first real knife I bought. It's a fixed blade. I bought the most expensive knife I could afford as my first knife since I knew I would never be able to save this much again. ( I'm homeless and these knives are really for my grandnieces, for college tuition). So I researched pioneers of knife making in the USA and saw Robert Terzuola, Randall and Loveless. I bought a Loveless Drop point hunter. If you get a chance to hold one in your hands that was made by him, you will feel history. There is a spiritual feeling when you hold one, but the weight and curves feel ( don't laugh) sensual. It cost $4500 and that was a cheap one.🤣🤣🤣 But that's my favorite, not because of the cost, but because you can seriously feel the heart and love of the craft in his knives. Watch his video on making knives. He is so serious and detailed oriented in the video. But after saying this. There are some really good Chinese companies. My Hinderer Emmett knife is probably my second favorite knife. Next month I get my Randall. ✌️🦁
