Favourite books of 2023 for me were Part of Your World and Happy Place. 😊🐺
🐺 I think my favorite fantasy romance was The Crown of Oaths and Curses. My favorite historical romance was The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne.
My favorite read of 2023 was Marrying Winterborne - Lisa Kleypas. I read it near the beginning of the year and reread it in November and loved it even more the second time around. 🐺
I am goin with: Caught up, Fourth Wing, and Soft Flannel Hank
🐺 Carissa Broadbent for sure, loved all three books
I have GOT to read Erin Langston!
Love your channel Always find some thing to read. I also like that you talk about YA books
🐺I have added to my already massive TBR. 😂
I'm reading The Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and I plan on reading all of Laini Taylor's books. I'm loving it, and really want to read more fantasy.
Thank you for your favourites, some of your top favourites are still on my list for 2024, always a great reminder why I need to get to them very soon❤. Oh my gosh, I couldn’t tell you my favourite book of 2023😂 But all my 5 star reads, and therefore top favourite reads of 2023 are… drummroll… Erin Langston and most of the Victorian Rebels from Kerrigan Byrne (some re-reads, but finally finished the series) for Historical Romances. Carissa Broadbent for romantic fantasy. Reel from Kennedy Ryan, Funny Feelings from Tara Dewitt, In a jam from Kate Canterbury, Role Playing from Cathy Yardley, Rosalin Palmer takes the Cake by Alexis Hall (women’s fiction) for contemporary romances (although I pretty much moved away from contemporary romance in 2023).
My favorite book of last year was definitely manacled It is one of the best redemption arc I’ve seen for a character in a long time.
🐺 Loved listening to you talk about your favorite books, Crystal. As always, you've given me such great suggestions for future books to read. Thank you!
Happy new year! 🐺🐺🐺
🐺 thank you for this video, I just added half of these books to my TBR. 😁 my favorite book from 2023 was a tie between Hello Stranger by Katherine Center, and The Work of Art by Mimi Matthews.
🐺 My top two favorite books of 2023 are Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez and CC1 House of Earth and Blood by SJM. Thanks for the video!
My favorite book last year was The Wishing Game. It was unique and I loved that. My fave historical romances were The Wolf and the Wildflower and Forever Your Rogue. I also read Hell's Belles and I am SOOOOO excited for the 4th book! I am not sure when it comes out though.
Happy New Year Crystal ! Thank you for bring to us those beautiful books. I can't wait to your new uploads !
I clicked so fast when I saw you posted. Thank you for another year of wonderful book recommendations. 🐺🐺🐺
Yay for favorites! ❤❤
🐺My favs of the year were The Right Move and Forever Your Rogue. One of my 2024 bookish goals is to read more adult fantasy, so I'm adding Children of Fallen Gods to my TBR. Also, continuing my quest for romantic, slow burn historicals, so I'm also adding Knockout and A Not So Distant Love. Thanks, as always, for your wonderful book reviews! Happy New Year!
I love watching these videos! Thanks for sharing
happy new year! i picked up a bunch of Laini taylor books to read this year because of you! im really looking forward to them :)
🐺 my fave of 23 was Strange Love by Ann Aguirre
🐺 Hi, Crystal. Happy New Year. I had two 2023 favorites: Sweet Lullaby by Lorraine Heath and Forever Your Rogue, of course.
Happy New Year! 🐺
🐺 📚
HAPPY NEW YEAR DEAREST! I'm curious to see what 2024'll bring us 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
🐺 I did a top 15 for 2023, you should check it out but my top fave was A Scoundrel of Her Own by Stacy Reid. That woman can write!
Favorite book this year that's not a reread is CL Wilson's The Winter King. Loved it so much. Thank you always for your honest and insightful videos. Some of my favorite books I've read have been via your recommendations! (video idea? Recommendations video based on your viewer's favorite books that were recommended by you. Very meta).
Fantastic list, several of these are on my 2024 tbr so this is so timely. I've been meaning to start my V. E. Schwab journey but haven't been clear on which book to start off but here you've given me welcome direction so thank you. I LOVE AND ADORE the Sevenwaters books! I read them years ago and I still think about them all the time. It's fantastic to see someone recommend any of them as I feel I do not hear/see much about them which is sad. Wonderful books. Carissa Broadbent is such a gifted author and I have yet to read a book of hers that I did not love. She really pulls you in and hooks you with her plots, story lines and with her characters. I have Children of Fallen Gods on my tbr this year and I'm so eager to get started. If you haven't read her Crowns of Nyaxia series and then her novella, Six Scorched Roses, I highly recommend them. Fantastic, all. I think, along with V. E. Schwab, it's about time I look into Laini Taylor books. Sounds wonderful. Happy New Year. Great video 🐺

Hello 👋
Great video, I just love the way you talk about books, especially the ones you’re passionate about 🐺 Aside from Son of the Shadows (which I’m currently in the middle of) I haven’t read any of these, though most of them are on my TBR. Especially Children of Fallen Gods and Forever Your Rogue are two that I really want to get to soon. A Holiday By Gaslight by Mimi Matthews, Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher, Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake and The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty were some of my favorite reads of last year.
🐺❤️🐺❤️🐺❤️
I ain't never shutting up about Forever Your Rogue. ❤ just the best. I definitely cried talking about it the other day. So good. 🥹🥹 I'm so glad you read it and shared it. 🥰
