BEST BIKE PARK IN THE SOUTH? JARRODS PLACE BIKE PARK
I finally got up to Jarrods Place Bike Park to see what the hype was all about and let me tell you, it was worth it. The amount of perfectly built jumps is crazy. Long long flow trails with jumps for all skill levels and huge berms was crazy. There was also plenty of single track and tech if that is your thing too. Backwoods and 1776 where some of my favorites. Backwoods was like a rough cut Hemlock at Kanuga and 1776 was more like GNCC without ruts and more rocks. If you go to the top, there is steeps galore. Very much like windrock at the top of the mountain. Super steep and very rocky. Only bad thing is you have to pedal or hike a bike to the top. It takes about 15 minutes to get up there and if you do... boy is it steep. Be ready. Also, Enduro bikes are better at the top because it is super tight up there. Turning with a dual crown bike is pretty difficult up there. I don't know if Jarrods is the best park in the south. It is certainly better than the parks I normally frequent though.

Sick run!
Jarrods place is awesome. There is a little bit of everything. There are still so many trails you didn't do. There is Kids eat free and unlimited breadsticks which is the smoothest jump line out there. You can discover new stuff every time you ride.You did a good video.

We rode kids eat free but it was pretty choppy from the freeze thaw. Unlimited breadsticks was closed as well as air supply. Going again in June though and will try to get the ones we didn’t ride! Hopefully I won’t be sick next time too so I can actually charge the stuff like I should 🤣🤣
Similar distance from Charlotte as Snowshoe. Im assuming snowshoe is the better choice?

That is correct haha. Snowshoe is the best park I’ve been at so far. Unless you just like jumps, then Jarrods may be better.

Totally different environment. Machine built flow vs Natural gnarly dh
you should get an enduro bike way better than a dh rig

Just depends on what you’re doing. Dh bike is better at Windrock and some of snowshoe but most of the stuff around WNC, enduro bikes are better for the terrain
