I just picked one up. I put on 130 miles today. It’s amazing. Brakes work extremely well.

I like the concept of hybrid supermoto/adv and for a ktm, it's actually kind of nice looking to me and nice surprise to hear 182 cm can touch the floor at stop without ass hanging off. I like this one- good review

@@mikey_moto_channel i picked up the bike! Amazing but it's experiencing some gaps after shifting up, when I start accelerating.. has it ever happened? Am i doing something wrong?

@@LeDemiChef I cannot remember, but I reckon you have to break it in. Go easy on it. Is that quickshifter doing that?

@@mikey_moto_channel I'm not even using the quickshifter, since it feels very heavy to shift up without the clutch (almost impossible). I'll bring the bike to the dealer tomorrow, see what they can do to fix it!
Nice intro and bike review. I think after i watched this i'm more like a duke kind of person. Not so keen on traveling long distance on a bike anyway. Two hours riding is good enough. 890 as a motor size would be good but 1290 is so thrilling. Bike weight is somewhere 215kg with fluids?

I have seen those duke videos. I don't remember how many times you said about 1290r if you are a beginner please don't buy it 😄

@@makesense1607 well, you can ride in rain mode 😅 I started like that on Triumph RS ☺️
Its mising Brembo brakes 😢. KTM need to add the same components as a Duke R version.

You are right, Id expect Brembo setup as well, however I understand why it doesnt.
