You have to understand that $1000 for most people is an incredible amount, especially the demographic Dawson selects. Handing someone that much triggers a red flag and typically means either a scam, something in return, or a ruse, e.g., counterfeit money. It rarely means what he's doing on camera, i.e., literally giving away free money. I think that's the reason most people are in disbelief. If he were giving away $50-$100 most people would gladly accept it in certain situations. I've tipped a waitress that many times without acknowledgement because I believe in selfless giving. I've also given away amounts up to $3000 without reciprocity (meaning no camera or charity write-off) because it was the right thing to do.

you have time. donate your time to folks that need help. older folks need help in a bad way. so you can give back if you really want. you can paint a room. take them to an appointment. pick up groceries. etc.

This is awesome man! It’s so great to see someone making content by giving back to people. A lot of KZreadr just flaunt their money, you’re one of the few to give to others for no reason at all. Really shows what kind of guy you are. I wish I had the funds to do this. I bought an elderly couples breakfast at a diner in ND a few months back and didn’t stick around to see their response. I wish I could do this much!!

I tell you why you are touching my heart so strong with this kind of videos: Few years ago I lost my whole family in only one year. For a mistake of my brother I lost my parents house, where I was born, as well. I felt more down to depression and couldn’t work, lost my job and almost my life. I took care of my mom until she past the way with almost 100 years. ❤ Then I start to survive, anyway it’s not like in the past. Now I’m 64 and I have no idea how to keep going if I’m retired with a very small money. 😢 But, it makes me happy, this ideas and yes, of course it’s your business. But the difference is, you know it and uses your earned money to make other people happy.
