Hi Guys, did Fraser last year and loved it. It was our first time going and did all the usual prep, tyre pressures etc but bogged it off the barge on fraser in front of everyone as i forgot to put it in 4wd. I'm with Terrantino: nailed it again! Brought back fond memories about Fraser. Also good to see the Inskip approach, because we took the northern barge, so Inskip is new to me. Weirdly, we never saw any dingos, other than one dead one on the beach.

Awesome video. K'gari is my favourite place to camp. Inskip is usually easy this time of year. Gets more difficult in summer when there's heaps of traffic and really hot sand.

Been to Fraser Island a couple of times always stayed a week and its never long enough. Love sandy cape and the western side is usually very quiet.

Happy Birthday Jack! I couldn't think of a better place to be. (yes, it was a sea snake) You made me feel very home sick. I lived on the Sunny Coast for 14 years, met my wife there & both our kids are Queenslanders. I've travelled to Frazer, Rainbow etc many times. Double Island between Noosa & Rainbow was our go to camping spot, often going on a Friday arvo after work at the drop of a hat (no matter what the tides) being based at Caloundra meant we were able to travel to many great places in South East Qld. (still trying to figure out "why" we moved back to S.A.) We really miss the Sunny Coast, Frazer etc. (we lost a good welding glove we used for the camp oven to a dingo on Frazer one night! I guess it smelled really good!) Another great episode. Cheers!!

Sea snake. You can tell by the paddle tail.

0:51 That's an Olive Sea Snake , I've handled hundreds if not thousands of those in my years on the trawlers , even at full strength the big ones are easy to pick up by the tail because they lack enough muscle to curl up back on themselves when out of the water , the very small ones though are more agile . Being on the beach , I'd say that one had something wrong with it if not dead , ordinarily they never leave the sea . I have friends coming to visit from Sydney soon , they are hiring a 4wd and heading over to Fraser for a couple of days , I'll show them your videos before they go if I get the chance , glad the sciatic issue is resolved now Jack . Hey Darren sorry for the delayed response here! We use our mobile phones to hotspot our laptop for internet and are both on Telstra plans so we can have service most often. And as for NP camping the majority of them are all booked online, we’ve only really encountered 1 or 2 on all our travels that took cash 😊 hope this helps!

Unfortunately , dogs are not allowed in most Australian National Parks , that puts a big limit on where travellers and especially Vloggers can spend time . You can often transit through a Qld NP with a dog in the vehicle as long as it stays inside at all times . That's not always practical either . I don't agree with the rule but there you go .

Regarding the Apple watch; IF Apple says they gotta repair it, you'll have to pay for the repair, bad luck, better luck next time. BUT IF Apple says THEY CANT repair it, that's BS, this is Australia there are statutory protections. Call Apple (don't deal with the store) and raise a case. Tell them you were willing to pay for the repair, but Apple couldn't repair it and that you should get a new Apple Watch replacement at no cost. Push for it, you will get a new one. Trust me. Good luck.
