Hey @RoseAnvil, apparently there was description errors on the Adidas website when Adidas first dropped AE1's and Harden Vol 8, leading many to believe it was a mix of both Lightstrike and JetBoost, but they soon fixed it and clarified that it was only pure JetBoost as their midsole cushioning setup.

@@hakanscxthat's a bit over generalized it depends on purpose and use triangles, arches and domes are all shapes that are equally incredibly structurally sound that do a lot more than hexagons in architecture. You don't see a lot of hexagons in wall building support. A hexagon lattice has a bunch of different flexion properties when done in sheet form o and let not leave out cylindrical columns that are used in all kinds of bridge work. They don't use a lot of hexagonal bridge columns...

The Ae 1 is actually the most breathable basketball shoe on the market right now so it may have thick material but the honeycomb with mesh behind it makes up for that. Allowing tons of air to come thru the shoe as u walk or run. The slipping u were experiencing wasn't due to the shoe it was due to having a dirty dusty court. Cause every other ball player I've seen review these say they have some of the best traction on the market. I mean AE plays in these, and he has one of the most aggressive performances. So, he is constantly cutting up and he has no issue with grip or traction. Now I did see people who wore these for outside or on dirty courts have issue but. That's with a lot of basketball shoes as well that are mainly meant for indoor use.

  • @SouthJerseyBaitReviews

yea I agree, I think the reason they said it was slipping was because the court they were testing on. Had a ton of dust and dirt on it but. If AE is using these and he doesn't have issues with slipping or rolling ankles, then they have plenty of grip. Also seen plenty of ball player KZread channels review these and say the same thing and say it has the best traction they've had since kobes, lebrons.

The more of these videos i watch, the more amazed I become with what can be done with foam and other synthetic materials. Yeah they wear out quickly if you wear them all the time for everything, but they can really perform for a few hours in the gym or on the court. I need to exercise more often.

you do realize most Nike basketball shoes, NB , Asics, adidas, Converse, and etc all use glue for their basketball shoes and when it comes to price these are the cheapest performance basketball shoes on the market that uses full length of boot. If u compare that to Nikes Kobes, LeBron's they are $80-100 dollars cheaper than competition that's why they say its only $120 because that's pretty cheap compared to plenty of other brands.
