Why is this the greatest barn find collection? Aside from the vast spectrum of American and European sports cars, every single one of these cars is for sale. Accompanied by the collection owner, Mike Sperber, Tom walks around and gives you his best assessment of the cars and what he likes best about each one. Some of these cars have appeared in other "Barn Find Hunter" episodes but there are many firsts among this collection, the best of which include a Daimler SP250, Volkswagen GTI, and several Porsche Speedsters. We should all take a moment to thank the man who assembled this collection and say a prayer for his family through his illness.

I found a 1971 Buick GS Stage One 14 years ago and I didn’t finally get my hands on it till two months ago. It sat for a total of 38-40 years. I am currently rebuilding it on my channel. Unfortunately I was in rough shape and the previous owner butchered it but I am determined to but this Beauty back on the road

I had a buddy who was in love with BuicksGrand Sports he had one with I think a 455 he stepped hard on it 1 night messing around the thing had so much torque it tore the body away from the frame and it was riding with part of the tank and trunk riding over the back tire.That thing for sure was a sleeper it looked a little like a skylark I'm not sure it was either a 1970 71.real nice cars a lot of people know nothing about .At the time I owned a 1970 Chevelle ss 396 He'd take me off the line easy

I'd like to take another opportunity here to say THANK YOU to Hagerty for all the great programming you all provide. I always knew you were a great insurance company (I've been a customer for years) as well as an obvious friend of the hobby, but these shows are yet another feather in your cap. Merry Christmas to all my fellow car nuts and prayers for peace in the new year! -Ed on the Ridge

Car collectors are everywhere. My uncle has several buildings full of cars, and he also collected every motor, transmission, and rear end from all the old muscle cars that he could get a hold of. My first car was a 1969 Chevy Impala 2dr. custom coupe with a 396 big block turbo 400 trans, and had the positrack rear end. I traded the motor, tranny, and rear end out of that car for another 1969 Impala red with a white vinyl top and the slotted mag wheels that had a 327 small block. He still has the 36 ford coupe hotrod he drove in high school. Corvettes and a 68 Camaro convertible basket case he restored from the ground up. His side business was upholstery so all his projects got brand new interiors. Seeing what he has collected over the years leads me to believe there are a whole lot of treasure troves of cars and parts sitting all over the US. Hagerty will have plenty more episodes to give us in the future.

I keep coming back to this episode at 29:47 as I managed to purchase the black Porsche 911 with the M491 'Turbo Look' option from the Virginia buyer who brought it back to life. It is an amazingly original car, and absolutely everything works correctly on it. Once the seats were refreshed, wheels replaced and brakes and fuel lines sorted this car just drives like it was new, a fun time capsule from when I was a kid and dreamt of having one 😂
I’m still drooling. Maan, what a find. 🇩🇰😊🙋🏻♂️👩🏻🚀🇺🇸

When I was a kid there was a 93 uh Cadillac sedan DeVille grey on grey on grey with red interior. I saw it every single day walking to the bus stop. The fiberglass was cracked in the bumper was held on with wood screws but otherwise it was complete and clean but it always reminded me of a cheap suit. There was a 64-66 lime green Ford galaxie on Jacks... The clean dark green NB Miata... W10 MR2 in red, on I think it was BBS rims or OZ or Eenki... It always looked like some supercar

This is just great! Two of the nicest guys, having a whale of a time, exploring a fantastic collection of cars. Some of those Porsche cars from the 1980's don't look outdated, and I kept thinking, if I had the chance, yes that's the one I would buy, only to change my mind a bit later! Most of them seemed to have kept well, it was hard to realize that some of them are between 40 and 60 years old. Thanks for a great video.

@louisgreenleaf235
4 жыл бұрын
Babylon falling I own an 80s ford and can tell you it’s well know that they weren’t designed to last they were designed to rust to make you buy a new car. The wiring looms are nowhere near built to the standard of modern day cars and are held together with old tape. Yes modern cars have loads of electronics that fail but most of the time it’s just a warning light on the dash. I like classics but I would never want to drive one every day the automotive industry has come along way in terms of economy, safety and comfort whether that’s for the better is debatable.

I don't know why I watch this. I just end up salivating. My favourite cars tend to go out the window a bit in this day and age because its simply appreciating an era of cars that we'll never see again & each in its own right becomes priceless due to the scarcity & difficulty to locate short of bucketloads of money. So yup, really I love this channel but so envious at times. I hate the idea of any of the cars they come across not being saved.
