Charlie knows his history and has a passion for his collection. Great guy to stumble across.
This guy was an absolute pleasure to watch. A guy that drives what he has. Not rotting away.
Could be the coolest episode yet! Charlie is an amazing guy, his passion and knowledge are infectious! My old man was a Pontiac guy, bought a new one every four or five years, beginning in 1950. Thanks Tom and crew for what you do.
When he started that flatbed, I laughed so hard, with gratitude and happiness. Love your collection thanks for letting us see it. Love it!
At last a guy that has a collection that isn't rotting away in a field. I like that all of them are runners and not trailer queens. This is the kind of collection you can take out on the road and really enjoy owning instead of just staring at like museum pieces.
Born and raised here in New Hampshire, always neat when our little state gets mentioned. Nice to see stuff like this close to home

Isn't it funny? That feeling of pride and community one feels when our little part of this world is referred to?!!!
This guy is a gem
What a great guy. He could certainly host a show with his personality and gift of gab. Thanks Tom.
What a great episode ! I’m a Brit, so the only vehicle I recognised was the Fiat, but Charlie’s love for the collection clear. I guess you could have done another episode just on the memorabilia!
I "rescued" a '67 Travelall from a small town near me and put some work in to get it running and stopping. A 304 V8, Auto, 4x4 with the factory AC upgrade and a build sheet to show it was a true survivor. Same Apache Gold that this gentleman's is. Sold it to a local guy who was going to finish restoring it and drive it. So incredible how stout that 304 is and how darn good it ran even after sitting for over two decades.
Very eclectic collection there,Charlie! Thanks for sharing it with us and thanks Tom.
I really enjoyed this video. Many vehicles I can relate to, and the owner is one of the nicest you have ever shown. I could tell you enjoyed your time there. I always liked International trucks, and Pontiac's myself. The 1965 and 1966 GTO's were my favorites.
What an amazing collection and many thanks to Charlie for sharing. As always Tom thank you for finding them and sharing.
This guy has an amazing collection! I could spend days looking at all his vehicles, signs, and auto memorabilia. He was so gracious in enthusiastically sharing it all with us. Car people truly are the best people you will ever meet. Thank you so much!
What a great guy
Excellent collection & Love the owner! Thanks Tom.
What a collection but that signal starting up like that with one crank is so satisfying. Love it
Wow… what a great episode. Thanks Charlie for the awesome tour.!
Can't believe seeing that Signal start right up almost brought a tear of joy to my eye. Wow, thanks for sharing, Charlie!
Yeah, a Pontiac story! I also had a 77 Can Am. The scoop on the hood has "T/A 6.6" which is the Pontiac 400 motor. If the scoop has "6.6 litre", it is the 403 Oldsmobile motor (which you had to get in California).
Tom I really appreciate you finding the stories and sharing them with us. Look forward to new adventures every time I open up KZread
Hay Tom, tell Charlie thanks for keeping all those Pontiacs and Internationals alive and well. And take care of yourself. Ps. And i miss Oldsmobile too.
Born and raised in Maine until 23 yrs old. Now in NH. The accent. That man is a Mainer. Cahhhh. Lolol. Love it.

It's so true that car people are friends almost instantly. Thanks Tom👍
I never get tired of seeing people’s collections. Everyone has their own tastes and preferences, but they’re all uniquely cool. Thanks for the video-keep hunting!
Thank you Charlie!
Tom telling the story of his first burnout seems very special
Tom, I have said this quite a few time over the past few episodes, but just an epic video! They just get better and better. Please, please keep finding these guys (car nuts!) and showing their passion to us car nuts! Thank you for what you do!
I was little when my grandpa died. He was a trucker, and he had an International Scout II. I grew up to be a truck driver too. My favorite thing I ever drove was a 1977 International with a Detroit 318 and twin sticks.
I'm a Maine native, and I strongly suspect that I have run into Charlie and maybe several of his friends. Very cool episode, congrats of finding the good stuff Tom.
Superb loved every second of this episode👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks Hagerty & Tom, & Special Thanks to Charlie for sharing his collection with us car's enthusiasts😍😍😍 Stay Safe Guy's👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Talks about each car like it’s one of his kids. Great stories behind each one.
Tom is a National Treasure. The country club story was classic.
Love the Pontiacs , beautiful collection. I drove a cab over international delivering to furniture plants in the southeast. Could get that baby into all the tight spots! Would scare people thinking I was swinging close at intersections. Great trucks.
Guy is smart to focus on specific models like Pontiac and IH. Keeps your perspective
I miss Pontiac so much. Screw you GM!
Love how each car has a story its what makes this hobby incredible we all grow off each other
1970's Cabover "Combine" with a Detroit Diesel and a 13 spd was one of the 1st big trucks I drove.
Tom, always enjoy your videos. Wish you could have spent a couple of minutes discussing the yellow, '88 Fiero GT with "factory" T-tops, of which only about 12 with 5-speed were built.
Holy smokes! Incredible collection
Charlie is another example of what it is to be a good *steward* of old cars. Tom is correct - "car guys" just hit it off from the get-go, no matter the locale or brand loyalties. I love the accent, makes me want to have some "lobstah" too. 🙂 Tom and Davin continue to be the best Hagerty has to offer. Love both of their work. - Ed on the Ridge

Amen! After seeing several hoarders treating old cars so badly, Charlie's an absolute gem! Treats them well if they ain't being driven regularly, but mostly drives and enjoys them. Bravo to this guy!
What a great collection and even better stories.
What an incredible collection - hats off to the owner, great guy!
A most fun collection that's presented v. well & all driveable/driven. Very cool ! !
Another great video Tom really enjoyed it Thanks
MAN. This guys knowledge is just astounding
What a passion that man has. This is a great episode Tom.
Fun tour , always enjoy a good history and story with a vehicle.
Tom, That was a fantastic video !
Great episode Tom, thanks for that.. some lovely cars and Charlie is great. 🙂
The smile on his face says it all!
I live in Augusta! I was born and raised in Caribou. I love these "Barn Finds", here on Hagerty. Great show!
Would’ve liked to have seen the Fiero and Sunbird.

My favorite minutes on KZread are watching Barn Find Hunter!
These episodes just keep getting better 🤌
Wow what a guy, he is definitely the man for those clubs! What a legend... I could look at that collection and dig into them all day!
ABSOLUTE GOLD! Love this collection!
Charlie is so damn cool. Thanks so much for sharing your collection with us. Finally - not a hoarder - a collector - and so darn interesting his collection is.
Wow what an amazing collection Charlie has and not just the trucks and cars but the toys and signs and emblems. Makes me wonder how much other stuff he has that you didn't get a chance to see or film. Got to love the vintage stuff.
Wow. That was fun! And what a nice guy Charlie is. I turn 41 in a month & a half and, with four kids under 10 at home don’t really have the time or cash to start building a car collection right now. When the kids are grown & I’m in my 60’s I want to be like this guy - friendly, real and just having fun with his passion for classic cars & trucks. Great stuff as always, Tom!
What an amazing collection and thanks to Charlie for sharing and showing all his vehicles. I have several favorites I wouldn't mind owning.
That was pretty cool. As I'm a car guy too, worked at Coggin Pontiac in Durham NC when I was 16 yrs old , I co chaired the Homecoming parade and organized the cars for the Homecoming Court at Durham High School my senior yr. I had a '73 Can Am in the lineup. It didn't have the shaker hood, had a 400 in it with an automatic. It was very different and it was the only non convertible car for the Homecoming court.
Amazing collection!!!
Tom, Don't forget Grumman also made aluminium canoes.
These International trucks ❤🫶🏻😍🙂
One mans passion.
Absolutely love this series. Tom knows so much!
Watching from the UK, haven't missed a video so far. What a great find. Great enthusiastic owner, a really articulate story teller with a fantastic collection, and Tom makes the show!!!!
Wow, another great show, I'm loving the Maine episodes. Look forward to the next.
Yay Maine! Right in my back yahd! L❤ve it TC!
Awesome collection and what a great guy Charlie is for showing you his cars.
International Harverster trucks are cool. I've had a few. Currently own a 1967 travelall panel truck.
Another fantastic video. Thank you. What a great guy with an amazing collection. 👍🏻
Charlie is a great guy. We are in the ATHS - Pine Tree Chapter together and his enthusiasm for old vehicles is top notch.
Signal starting up was the best ever
Wow. I like Charlie. Great episode.
That is a great collection and the owner was awesome telling us the stories behind the cars and trucks. Love the old bread truck . Drove some Grumman bread trucks in the late 90s
Thanks for sharing Tom and Charlie...amazing collection.
Great episode Tom! Pontiac is so often overlooked. You should make your way to Portland Oregon. We don't salt the roads and all over the city are cool old cars. Love to shake your hand
I want to be Charlies neighbor..... not only for the vehicles but also a kind soul.
Enjoyed video😮 thanks for your time and effort😊😊😊
Another great show. Thank you Tom for the effort you make to bring us this wonderful show.

What an incredible guy and an incredible collection.

The stories,oh,the stories behind a lot of 'em cars & tracks!!!
My first car was the 77 Firebird, then bought a 67 GTO convertible a few years later. Wonderful times.
2 thoughts... 1.) That Signal Truck once he eased on the choke and adjusted the timing...smoothed right out perfectly... 2.) We had a 18' Grumman canoe growing up...late 60's/early 70's...wanted to polish it up...but...my Dad said "Why?..It's a canoe.." Fantastic Upload!..Pontiacs and I-Harvesters...Who Knew? 👍
That 77 Can-Am has the most beautiful paint job in the world.
My brother had a '74 Ventura Sprint with the tent option.
Great collection , great video , great guy .
Great video. I love his collection. That old Budweiser truck is a real find. He has a great collection. Thanks.
😎💯👍 I've got a Pontiac. 1957 Catalina 4dr ht. 347 Poncho power. I'm the third owner.
