I trap in Mississippi and you turned me onto the Hiawatha valley and Gusto. I very seldom use anything. But I also buy the big bags of chicken le quarters and chop them up with my macheti and put it in a plastic 5 gallon bucket with a lid. I then go and make my sets however many that may be then I go back later that evening and bait my sets by that time the chicken has started to smell. I then use a little of the juice around my trap bed. Works amazingly well for me. Tight chains to everyone of you

You got me hooked on Hiawatha Valley! Love the stuff.

I use gusto alot. I caught 6 cats in one set in a 3 week time. I only got 5 of them. Somehow one got out. Gusto and Hiawatha. Canine force and Dobbins canine select. I had good luck together in pipe or flat set. I used most of Jeff Dunlap lures with good results. Take clear packing tape go around your bait and lure bottles. Keep your labels in tack. That last bottle of red fox you showed is hawbaker lures. I bought a gallon of apple road baits . One in a bobcat base bait. And one in a horse base bait. Be my first yr using horse bait. Add a small bottle of red fox and a bobcat pee to your bag.

Finally caught my first yote after trapping since January. Hiawatha Valley is a great bait! Local shop has all the Cavens. 10$ bucks a critter tail here till July so still trapping 👍

Caught a 50 pound coyote here in Alabama on my private land yesterday with using only Turkey feathers and doggie bacon bits. Finally got my Cavens lures and baits and opened the gusto and almost threw up lol! I think gusto and yodel dog should work great with Hiawatha Valley, coyotes should smell that gusto from a mile!

Try Cletis Richards apple road predator bait. And horse bait. You will be pleased with these baits.

I Trap in PA use all Russ Carmen baits lure and urine. Give his stuff a try! Canine Call is great.

I do them as frequently as I can. Unfortunately, KZread isn’t my full time job. So I do them whenever I get the chance to! There will be more videos now that hunting/trapping season is here. Summer time is my slow time of the year because work is busy and there’s nothing in season

Give Fox Hollow GH2 a try, GH2 and Hiawatha Valley is my go to combo

Great video what county in North Carolina do you trap I'm in Gaston county.

I don't do Instagram, but I will name my bait/lure of choice. I'm from Wisconsin, and I like Dirty Bird from Southern Snare and Violator 7.

I use hyawatha valley and gusto but you need to get some Gator LDC from Brian at southern snares & supply I do well with it here in Wisconsin it's a favorite of mine Bobcat's love it

I used canine force and I was catching badgers like crazy down here in New Mexico

Honestly the best lure you have is Minnesota Red. Try Mark Junes Widowmaker bait. Stay fresh rather than skunky on baits.

Do yourself a favor and try fox hollows gh2 canines LOVE it !

What produced better for you the Cavens Gusto or the Windwalker I heard the windwalker is a little runny !!!

Gusto has given me more catches over the years. But wind Walker has also been great as well it’s a stronger skunk Lure than Gusto but it is a little on the runny side. Either way, they’re both great

I wanna get into trapping when making a set is there a certain time to use different stuff like glands urines and stuff like that

Glands work best during the mating season! Like using doe estrous when deer hunting! However, urine is good ALL YEAR LONG!

How many coyotes/ predators do you catch a season?

Most of the time when traps are dug up they smell something in the bed.

I caught a coyote and a grey fox off it today. I am trying Apple Road's horse meat bait. And bobcat meat bait this yr. Had good results with it too.

I caught my first coyote with Ol' Roy dry dog food and bacon grease.

I’ve caught more yotes with table scraps I save in grease. I’m a hobby trapper. Best 2 month catch is 102 yotes with 18 traps
