2 weeks into full time van life and your channel has been fabulous for information as my little wifi box isnt cutting it. Now I just need to decide which one! 😂😊
Just bought a camper, your channel has given me so much information before actually buying a set up. Thanks 👍
Been looking at these and great video demonstrating the differences and benefits of not always looking at the nearest tower. Keep the reviews coming
Brilliant and informative, straight speaking, I'm a complete novice when it comes to Camper tech, your videos keep me learning.. thank you.👍🏾
I really enjoy your videos. They’re matter of fact, easy to understand and very informative. I’m currently staying on a fantastic campsite in Ars de Re on the Ile de Re in Nouvelle Aquitaine, France. I’ve brought my 4G router and old Poynting antenna with me and was planning to buy a French SIM card, as my UK unlimited SIM has a data cap, which wouldn’t be enough for our 24 night stay. However, on arrival and for the first time in France and the UK for that matter, I have free WiFi which is giving me more than enough bandwidth for all my needs. I love France.
Another great review, I get really patchy service when out and about. I'd love to win this. Thank you for running a giveaway 😊
I'm pleased this and the other videos produced by yourself are delivered for novices (like je) to understand and enable choice making
I'm still in the planning stage of my van conversion, so have not looked into 4G Internet yet. Thanks for a great video, very informative
I really enjoy the format of your videos and as a ‘newbie’ got a lot out of the hour long presentation about van Wi-Fi. Yes, I have been trawling through your back catalogue 😊 but these have all been really helpful. Keep up the good work 👍
Very impressed this could be just what we are looking for . One of these would be great for our motorhome.
Another great informative video. Thanks for all your effort. I purchased the Sercomm 4G+ CAT18 router for £30 from ebay after watching your review and it works brilliantly 👍
QuMax is very impressive and shows the power of a directional antenna!
These look good it will save me walking about the Motorhome sticking the mifi in odd positions whilst trying to get a better signal!!
I spend a lot of weekends camping with my hobby in remote farmers fields, sometimes with as many as 1500 other people which soaks up the available signal, I’m always looking for a better solution for internet. Another great review thank you,
Thank you very much for posting the video & all the information … I’m just researching mifi info for our van so this is very useful:)
Keep up the great videos so full of information I have just purchased a Huawei b535-232 now playing with the band lock and going away in the van the weekend so will test on a site. Next up antennas between your videos and Solwise lots to look at
Really enjoyed this review, prepping for our XLWB Daily build with same layout. Thats for sharing! :)
Thanks for another informative video. We currently have a Puck2 antenna which works great especially in places I didn’t expect it too….in the highlands of Scotland this summer.
Could be a superb setup for my little camper. Great vids as always and thumbs up to Solwise.
An "in van wifi" is on my to-do list this winter, thanks for the reviews as always!
I currently use a Poynting omni directional antenna, which I bought from Solwise about 18 months, with a huywai 311,sometimes I get a better signal on 3G, we all know the hype about 4G, but its always worth trying 3G aswell, great channel 👍
I found this video great for potential routers and antennas for my new van. Keep up the good work. John
I live in a rural area and sometimes I have good signal 20mb + then other days I have 2mb. I have a Huawei router with an external antenna and have been looking for a better antenna for a while so this video has helped me narrow down my choices.
Another informative vlog, interesting results, thanks to ExploreVan UK and Solwise for this give away.
I ended up buying the qumax as i go to a lot of shows and festivals that have wifi but are overloaded so i liked the idea of being able to select a less used signal would give me a better choice. Thanks for the info
Just bought my first campervan today, your videos are going to come in super useful especially as I am not what you would call "tech savy" Thanks a bunch!
I bought the 240 off the back of one of your vids, it’s great fair play
The performance of either of these QuWireless antennas, coupled with the Teltonika router is impressive. Thank you to ExploreVan UK and Solwise for providing this giveaway.
This a really good comparison. I currently have a puck which does have limitations, but this looks like a better solution Thanks for reviewing 😃
Very thorough review , certainly worth considering one of the units to save wandering about outside holding the mobile at arms lenght trying to answer messages , 😊
Congratulations to Matt Holland who was randomly selected to win our giveaway! - You can see the draw here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/po2YstOfqtHVptY.html If you weren't lucky enough to win - remember you can still get 10% off any purchase from www.solwise.co.uk including the QuWireless products by using the offer code EXPLOREVAN at the checkout.
We had a Satellite Dome on our previous Motorhome and have a campervan on order - I wasn’t sure which way to go - (Very Expensive) Satellite system or Wi-Fi - I’m now pretty happy I’ll go with Wi-Fi - Thanks for very informative videos 👍
The QuMax looks ideal for most of the festivals I go to.. 👍
Great videos, like the directional antenna, Malcolm
Love the review. Defo looking in to getting one for my off grid living
Great review as usual, nice to see an alternative solution that allows minimal cable signal strength loss. I have a Puck-2, would be interested in a comparison of speeds against that 🙂
Recently purchased a campervan & was actively looking to purchase a wifi system, now on hold till after this draw, good luck to me🤞😉
One of these would be a nice addition for my camper conversion, thanks again for the useful information.🙂
Unfortunately you now have me going back over previous videos to decide what I need to do. V informative channel.
Great informative video. These things can be confusing but you explain it really well.
As always your videos are extremely informative. Thank you.
Differences in performance not withstanding the Omnidirectional antenna is, in my opinion the best way to go as it is a total fit and forget solution. Having said that, I can see it would not be so suitable if you have a high top camper that is based on a high top van as you have the reverse problem to the signal reduction of using the RT421 inside a vehicle with its supplied aerial array. Neat solution though. Well explained and presented video as usual.
Best router reviews for mobile van reception. Thanks for your advice.
Interesting that you got better performance from the cell tower further away - thanks for pointing this out (and the reason for it).
Another informative video, currently using a puck which is better than the routers internal aerial but only just, I like the look of the QuMax would just need to figure out a way to rotate it while it's on the roof
Look good, better than the tiny antenna I use currently.
I have the 955 after your recommendation but need to upgrade the antenna. Fingers crossed for a win
Looks a lot better than the system I have now, old smart phone on the roof
Many thanks for a very interesting vid...your hard work is much appreciated
As always highly informative
Great review/video as always. Cheers
Yet another good review why would we all want one thanks
You always give the best advice great content as usual 👍
Great video as always!
Great video...and what looks like great kit. A nice upgrade for someone
Love the all in one unit 👍
Thanks for this! Commenting to enter!
Great channel, great advice as always
Thanks for the great advice :)
Great video. I'll be revisiting this as I am looking for a solution for my camper van build.
Looks like a winning combo I'm using the Rut955.*****
Great review. Would come in handy for in my T4
Great video 👍🏼 way to much choice available these days to research ourselves
Excellent and informative video as always. Looks a very interesting product.
As always an informative and interesting video. Thanks for sharing
As usual very informative and useful information presented excellently.
Will definitely try one of these
Really useful video, thanks.
Great video , didn't know you could do that with a router 👍
keep up the good great information as always
This was interesting anything that could help us get a signal when down in Cornwall camping 👍😉
Very impressive, thanks for informative video ❤
Great advise ..again.. thanks
Great information as usual 👍
Very helpful, excellent video👍
Thinking I could knock up some sort of extending pole to fit the antennea to and mount on the rear ladder, sometimes we really struggled to get a signal in the rural france this year
Thanks for the info.
Thanks another informative vlog
I'll be going very remote, so I was surprised by the directional version. Might have to get myself an extendable pole and go the directional route?
Oh, I brought the D-Link AX1500 that I'm sure you recommended on one of your previous videos. Looking for an antenna for this, but I guess if I did win, I could test them both out!
Brilliant video 😊
Good vlog and interesting solution to signal loss
Looks interesting ✅
Just bought a swift select with a satellite system and tried it out on a trip to Scotland without any joy. Actively looking for an internet solution, you may have just found it for me thankyou
Both systems look fantastic I’d love to win 👍
Really impressed with the Qumax results but I think it would be a bit of a pain if you have to get up on the roof to align it, especially if you move every day or 2. I wonder when someone will bring out a self seeking antenna like my Oyster satelite dish! I currently only have a EE mifi as we've been in our motorhome full time for just 6 weeks and I'm still trying to work out what we want vs how much we can justify spending
Great video 👍
Good video content, very informative
Top info buddy, 👍👍
Looking to add 4g to my van. This could provide it perfectly 👍
Very interesting options...
Great video.
Good videos as usual now try it with the Tesco unlimited sim 😜
Hi Currently do not have this type of setup only using a simple MiFi unit. However I am now finding this limited and have been looking for ideas and advice as to what to purchase. This video together with others from yourself have given me some great advice and ideas just need to determine which is best for our use. Dave
Impressive. I honestly thought putting the router outside the van would have been a bad day, as the van insulation etc would block some of the Wi-Fi signals they produce. Seems I was wrong
Great video
Good solution with router inside antenna.
Great looking setup would love to get good Internet in my van 😁
Nice idea putting the router in the ariel, I wonder if the signal from router to the device is compromised getting through the metal van walls.

Because of the proximity of the router to the van there is very negligible impact on the signal.
I have been trying to achieve better signal strength in my boat for a long time now. 1Mb download from all ISP's at the moment lol I would love to find something that would actually work.
