Thank you for this video. It is really nice to hear not just how to control your body during skating,but also why it is important to do this with correct form, and what are consequences of making other choices. For me it's The best form of learning technique

Again a great video! My problem is that I once sprained my ankle very badly. My knee can only move 3 to 5 cm in front of my toes. What are your thoughts on raising the heel of the foot slightly to allow for a smaller effective bend angle between tibia and the ground?

StyleLessMicks i also have this. It’s hard for me to bring knee in front. I don’t recommand to change the heel high because the frame and shoes is set up to fit this .... only way to do it would be from a custom shoes ...

@@ThePascalbriand Thanks for the answer, for now I will try to do major stretching of the calves before I go out for a training, that seems to help a little bit as well.

c'est ça haha ; pour en revenir à ta démo, l'angle de la cheville ne va pas dépasser les 100° (hormis sprint) car à plus de 10° pour le tibia le genou dépasse les orteils (sauf pour un type mesurant 1m50 et chaussant du 50) ; et d'ailleurs si le genou dépasse et la ligne de gravité dépasse le médiopied, le talon se soulève automatiquement ; IMO
