I love seeing if this truck gives others the same reaction I got upon trying this out! It’s bloody amazing… isn’t it! I, mean for what you get versus the cost, it definitely has a lot of Bang for your buck! Atfter having mine a while now, I think I prefer the square blocked tires for rally use over the knobby ones. Hi Robby, great to know that it's not just me who likes this little smasher! Agreed, it is bloody amazing! I must say that I enjoyed driving it on all 3 sets of tyres and liked the hard ones on asphalt as I could drift at much higher speeds. MJX-RC really are nailing it at the moment! Mark, I have to tell you - I think you might unknowingly be a Drift God, a quasi supernatural being with an uncanny natural talent for sliding cars sideways with style and grace. That aside, this thing's awesome. Whether you consider materials selection, spec (CV joints, etc., or performance, it makes me wonder why so many people choose a brand and forswear all others, come what may.

Couldn't agree more, Barry! It's built like a brick out house and goes like sh!t off a shovel 🤣!!! As for drifting, if I can make it drift then anyone can, you should have seen me try without the gyro on! 🤪😁👍

Epic, I drag raced my brother in his Camaro And Won. It runs like a dream on pavement, so so fun. Grass? not what it is built for, has a hard time on it. Pebbly driveway? It was ripping it in the dirt for a bit but the back wheel locked up, maybe a small rock in the drive shaft. Collects quite alot of dirt and pubbles when ripping on the dirt drive way, after a air compressor wash it was alright again. And on the road she stays.

I hear ya, dude! Yeah, this thing can accelerate like a stabbed rat! But off road you gotta choose the surface carefully, as you say. I have a video coming up showing it on smooth dirt and sand, it was tons of fun and the good thing is you can get some air when hitting lumps and bumps! But I agree, a lot of cleaning afterwards! Hello mate. Wow that looks like a proper bit of kit for a little car. I'm sort of tempted but I think if anything I need slightly fewer RC cars. Can't believe the difference between 2s and 3s in terms of top speed. A really lovely little package which is something I'm sure you heard on your wedding night! This is a great review vid you've made on this so well done to you and Rob for your efforts. I'm just in the post holiday trying to sort everything out mode but I've just stopped to have a pint and watch this. Best wishes mate 😁👍

For a little car it was going really well on the 2s but it took off on 3s!! I think with the drift tires and 2s it could be a lot of fun for a rather long time! It was a real beast on 3s though, might be hard to go back to the 2s for runs after that!! nice demo of pretty cool little truck!

Run that on a tennis court. Or if you can find a really nice skatepark the tires will last a lot longer and it drives a lot better.

What a cool little rig lads! Amazing value, there's obviously a lot of very good engineering gone into that, and with all the different tires a very comprehensive package! Must ask..... how did the tires smell in comparison to a tamiya?! 😂 Seem to be seeing a lot more gyro's these days, Taylors planes all have them in. Great to have the option to tune it down or turn it off completely though. That was rapid on 3s.....and on the luncharrari testing ground to..... how about you and Rob drag racing the two of them together?!? 🤔 Great drifting by the way fella, you got skills! 👍 👍 👍 👍

Hiya James! Yeah, this really is a cool bit of kit and as you saw, a ton of fun to drive with the 3 sets of wheels to choose from! As for the tyres, they just ain't Tamiya, no smell whatsoever! Boo! 🤣 The gyro was fantastic, never tried one before and made the truck so much more controllable. Yeah it even made it look like I could drift! You should see the outtakes though mate! 😜 I'll as Rob about that drag race but I think I know what he'll say! Thanks for the great comment, always appreciated, fella! Take care! 🤗👌👍

One very important thing to know about this car that the typical "unbox-and-drive" won't tell you is that these frequently ship with little or no grease in the diffs or rear gearbox. I bought one of these and that was exactly the case. The 2 diffs had almost no grease whatsoever inside, and the rear gearbox similarly had no grease applied within. It's a fair bit of work wrenching on these to get at the diffs, too, I might add; they're clearly not designed for ease of maintenance. But I would suggest running these on 3S with almost no diff or gear lubrication will likely shorten their lifespan drastically.

what weight of diff oil should be used? the manual states 50,000cs. is that the same as 5000CST?

Nice vid Mark, is the 2S a Lithim iron battery. also it is a low C rating so the 3S is lipo it will have more punch and high C rating. L@@Ks goo fun.

Thanks mate, yeah this really is a fun little rig! Yes, I think the 2s supplied is a Li-Ion. All three batteries are rated at 25C. It was mental on the 3s!!! Cheers!

Not cheap but fun if ordered with the 3s lipo.

Yeah it's about £130, Mal. Worth it in my opinion. I was astonished how fast it was on 3s, but it's still fun on 2s my friend!

Hey do you by chance know what weight the shock oil is out the factory? I tried 90wt and it’s not too well

I bought one just recently and I got a steering problem!!! I think the problem is has to do with the servo. Does anybody knows a better servo?

Sorry to hear about your steering issue. I think the stock servo is good enough when it's working properly but I'm sure there are alternative servo's that might be a bit stronger.

It was working fine when I bought it until I got lots of pebbles got inside of the steering. Then the servo started to make noises and after that it won’t just turn!! Thx for help!!

@@Seysar-xd3667 Ah yes, pebbles caught in the chassis probably burnt out the servo, it can happen. I'd just replace with the standard servo and try to avoid pebbles! Good luck with it!
