Luv the ETFs. I own both SCHD and DGRO. SCHD is one of my cores in the managed portfolio. I also own VPU (utilities ETF), AMD tech stocks, but I also own an individual utility company like DUK.

I love this channel! Your logical presentation style and transparency around your holdings is very important in building that viewer trust, so keep that up, appreciate your insights. I know AI is currently in the "Microsoft before it got big" moment so I have a huge amount of FOMO but can't buy EVERYTHING (my portfolio is already massively unbalanced towards tech) but what's your perspective on this being at least a bit of a bubble? I'm new-ISH to investing (about 2-3 years as an amateur) but NVDA's price and some others seem to be ....overhyped? It just reminds of the COVID frenzy. I know that NDVA is experiencing genuinely huge demand (maybe even shortages soon?) but the skyrocketing price growth seems ... unsustainable? Maybe I'm just a pessimist. But I'm also a long-term investor so I'm reaaaaally trying not to let this rollercoaster to sweep me up and essentially land me in the "buy high/sell low" idiot bucket. I’m hoping for AMD and others to catch up since I watched the NVDA boat sail right past me at $320…😂😂

Definitely an informative video. I was so glad to see IYW made your AI list. I started building a position in IYW about three months ago, but then it went from $117 to $132 in just a few days before I could build out my full position. Looking to hold around 250 to 500 shares. But, now I have to hope it drops 5% to 10% to buy more and minimize risk. But, in this market I'm not sure what strategy works. By the way I'm holding JEPQ and WCBR, as well. You should do a Cyber Security ETF list also......

Thanks so much for the note. I'm hitting cybersecurity stock this week and the ETF the following week.

Over the last couple of years I pumped 10K each into VGT, FTEC, QQQM and SMH. 40K Total investment. I know, lots of overlap, but this is a 15 year study :) It is also all in a ROTH IRA. We will see. It will be interesting to see what they each did compared to each other. This is not money we need so the risk is acceptable. My main holding for retirement is FTEC, (Fidelity S&P 500).

AI stocks will dominate 2024. Why I prefer NVIDIA is that they are better placed to maintain long term growth potential, and provide a platform for other AI companies. I know someone who has made more than 200% from NVIDIA. I'll also take these other recommendations you made.

Your Top AI ETF for 2023 video was a great inspiration for my investment planning and the spreadsheets really help a lot! Any plans on editing the spreadsheets so that the x-year return cells update automatically? It’s also very interesting to see that only QQQ and IYW have retained their positions in your list since last year. Love your content!

I was going to ask the same question as I have been using it and it is an excellent fund. Lower expense ratio than any of the mentioned funds here, similar holdings to IYW also with some of the rarer inclusions that Brian brought up. Maybe it's the dividend yield that didn't get it on this list or the 3 yr? But it actually has a better 5 year than IYW which is hard to achieve. This fund never seems to get mentioned by investors but it is one of the best from my experience and research.

I have a question if you don’t mind. Wouldn’t the expense ratio cancel out the dividend? For example: IYW has a dividend yield of .39% with an expense ratio of .40%. Thank you so much!

Dont forget XSD. I like it because it’s tilted more toward small and mid cap than PSI. Most of my portfolio is large cap, a reason I excluded SMH or SOXX.

thank you for the break down. be aware of volume traded. for example PSI has a daily average volume of 61K. I made a rule for myself that I invest or trade stocks with a minimum of 1 million trades a day. i want the liquidity, an less spread.

Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

I also own SOXQ due to its lower fund cost as well as lower share price to own more shares with the same amount invested in SMH

My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I’m currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

My only suggestion is that the (two!) spreadsheet tabs could be laid out better for printing on 8.5x11 paper. (Change column sizes, use wrap-round, etc.). With a little tweaking they would be much more legible. But the info is great!

Thanks. I think it's just a play on words that may have caught you up. For PSI, I state "when it comes to holdings, it has the top player with Nvidia." Meaning that Nvidia is the top player in the AI space for growth (today). Not that it is the top holding for PSI. But I can easily see how it comes across differently. Thanks for the comment.

I omitted VGT from the list. I explained that it had a huge overlap in holdings with the fund FTEC.
