The sauce is just a sweet and spicy sauce. It has a little tang to it and its really delicious. The noodles are called tteokbokki (korean rice cakes). They can either be bought frozen or homemade with some easy ingredients (rice flour and water).

in my country we have something like tteok but we always fried it (one or two places grill it) and never had I thought to see fried tteok in seasoned-chicken 10:08 😮 is it a new food trend? that looks super delish tho

Yeah. You can bake,fry,grill,steam chicken.For me, It's how you add flavor. I do know there are THOUSANDS of spices. You just have to find out what you like ;)

I use vegetable oil when frying chicken & it needs to be fried twice, second time the oil needs to be hotter to get the crispy coating
