BEST 4Runner On Board Air? | ARB Twin Compressor, FasterFlate Air System, Rago Fabrication Mounts
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Maximizing the engine bay space is really important with "smaller" SUVs. There isn't the luxury of infinite trunk space that you get in a van or suburban. I felt my original setup was just a bit spread out and when I won an instagram giveaway, I decided it was time for a full overhaul. This is stage 1!

The Arb dual compressor also good for running air horns also there are thousands of things you can use on board air for especially tools when you broke down on a trail
That faster flake manifold I front of the arb is a great idea
I do wish the wiring coming off the Arb dual compressor was longer so you could hide the plugs out of sight
I got my Arb dual Compressor the 1 gallon tank the inflation kit the manifold kit as the digital kit 2 days ago and got my bracket from M.O.R.E moutain Off Road Enterprise's for my 4th gen sport V8 4runner my arb harness came with Cloth covering versus the shiny black covering yours has
I have a few of them flat manifolds I'm going to custom build one and fab up a mount for mine similar to yours and mount it in front of the arb compressor I love that idea thanks
Never heard of Faster Flate That is cool love the orange my quad inflation kit of from MorrFlate Tyler from morrflate is also easy to work with
I lucked out and scored one of the Napa MaxiTrac twin compressors for $110 before they quit selling them. Airs up my 33’s from 14-34psi in a minute and a half or less with the MoRRflate quad.
Hey Zach! In regards to the master pressure read on the digital read out... If you are inflating all 4 tires at the same time do you watch for the PSI to be cumulative amount or per tire. Just curious if you want 30psi in all 4 tires does the read out say 120psi (30psi x 4 tires) or simply 30psi? Love the content and follow you on Instagram. Respect the midwest! #WI
Where did u place your switch pro?...did you rearrange it?
Did you uses the your 16 g purple wire for extension?
Buss bar is a little easier for larger Wiring jobs
Does the location of your compressor still allow to get at the fuse relay box or do you need to move it?

Don’t need to move the relay box but it covers it a bit. I’ve never had a fuse blow since owning my 4Runner but I could get at it worse case. I’m not too worried.

@@4Runner123 fair enough!
It scares me that I don't see a pressure switch.

Where would a pressure switch be used here?

@@OverlandEngineer on mine I used a "T" fitting, pressure switch on one side and air hose on the other. On a closed air system where the air has no place to go, under certain circumstances you could ruin your compressor.

@@salcigar ah so it’s not an electrical power kill switch for your compressor but just a blow off valve at a certain pressure limit?
@salcigar
Жыл бұрын
@@OverlandEngineer it's an electric pressure switch. Wired from the ignition as a trigger. The same ignition that the ARB power switch is wired to. Shuts the compressor off if pressure in hose reaches 100psi.

@@salcigar Thats a smart idea. I will look into that. This only runs when I air up and down tires, its not running lockers or air suspension, so its less crucial but I still think it would be smart. Do you have a part number?
