I CAN EXPLAIN THIS! i know its been a year but idc lmao. so the i3 is basically an i6 doing half its rpm. so when u hear an i3 rev up to 10k, it'll sound similar to an inline 6 revving in 5k. go ahead and check it. i shit you not. both of 'em is going to sing a "b" note on those rpms. (b as in the musical "c-d-e-f-g-a-b" or "do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti" so i meant they're both singing a "ti" note).... im not entirely sure, it could be a b# but hey im not pitch perfect.

@@satriabagaskara4198 Lmfao, a year later and you're right tho. V4s (yes, i mean V4s and not Inline 4s) sound very similar to a high pitched V8 imo. I just find it quite funny that you think you hear some inline 6 thing like a GTR etc. And then comes round a teeny litte coffee convertible at like 50 MPH screaming it's head off

Only engine that sounds bang on cut in half without altering the crank or firing is the 5cyl engines that sound almost like v10's. Anyways that's my know all comment for the week

I love the sound of 3 cyls. Would love to mod the exhaust on my fabia lol. It used to have a small hole in it somewhere which made it sound amazing but then the hole got bigger and it had to be fixed unfortunately

The one in the i8 is the only one making 220hp and if you use it without the electric engine in the i8 the engine wears off easy, the electic enine takes the load off the engine

That may not be possible, because size can affect the engine entirely, firstly it wouldn't able to rev high because of the tremendous amount of bore and stroke it has making the size of an LS it can be unreliable in a lot of ways, though you alternatively just use a regular inline 6 which can achieve its size to reach the size of an LS if you modify it.

What is the thumbnail car?

Inline 3s sound like Inline Sixes in both octave and pitch, cause they're essentially half of the latter.. Now go listen to any Inline Sixes, record it, and speed it up to 2x the speed along with the pitch... What so you get? A V12-like sound! Because V12s are essentially just 2 straight sixes mated to a crankshaft.. Seeing the pattern now? For most inline fours, they won't sound the same as most muscle car V8s because they're flatplane. Very much like European V8s are. Back on topic, revving an inline 3 at say, 8k rpms, sounds like an Inline Six revving at 4k rpms. Takes twice the rpm for the inline 3 to produce the same pitch as an inline 6 would at a specific rpm because it has half the revolution cycle, ie half the cylinders.. This is a really cool fundamental 😃

Suzuki and the cappuccino, muira, or amything with the turbo suzuki engine sounds best to me
