I had strips set up like yours in mh lld silverado but mine where connected to the subs lol so they lighted along with the subs good thing was wires were hidden

Just wanted to give a suggestion. The strips in the back will stick to the carpet area if you get some double sided Velcro. I had to do that to my Ram 1500.

I used Velcro to attach in under my seat for the back , cause my ford fusion is just Carpet material under the seats

Ive been using little safety pins to pin up the back seat ones,,pain in the neck but it works 😂😂😂

Thank goodness I found this tutorial, wish I had found it earlier and found out about govee, but bought some other brand but I think they are fairly similar. My question to you is, where did you get the red (lights? not sure if that is a light or just bright red) on the knobs or bezels (not sure what they are called) like the volume nob and the nobs under the screen?

Nah you don’t really see it. Plus most cars these days come with LED interior lighting.

Like the idea of blue strips at top of windshield to reflect down on front seats, would that be illegal or taking a chance of being pulled over do you think?

Glad you liked it. My truck cuts off power when it’s off so mines stay plugged in. But there’s a off/on button so I do turn them off before I get out.

You just got to hide the wire and use matching duct tape to hide the wires and make it look near

Did it mess up with ur battery? My car battery died within weeks after keeping it plug but off in the cig lighter the whole time while off. Trying to debunk whether that was it or not.

No it didn’t. I live it in cig lighter but the power button is off. However my truck cuts all power When ignition off. Some cars still have power to cig outlet even when off

I just installed the led strips to my vw. I turned on the led lights; everything was working, then I tried to turn on the car, and it wouldn't start. The radio didn't turn on. Does this LED drain the car battery?

I leave mines plugged into my truck all the time. However I be sure to push the red button so it’s off when I’m not using it. So I don’t leave it on but it’s always plugged in
