its a good day when Joey uploads. Yk, because of you, I built, and I'm currently rebuilding, my first pc. Thank You Joey.

I’m so glad I found you again (it took like 10 mins but still). A few years ago before I was in high school (I’m a senior) I had a goal to save up $1000 to build one of your pcs. Now I have a car and savings built up enough to where I’m finally ready to follow through with this. My passion fell off as I didn’t have any money or way to follow through, but now I do. You carried through my phase the first go around and now I’m back to finally reach my goal

great? a 7600 and 6800xt is great, for under $1000, gpu 30-35% faster and double the vram and memory bus, cpu 10-15% faster.

I'd recommend using a contact plate to replace the LGA 1700 interface on the motherboard. Reduces the chances of bending and nets you around 5-10C lower temps when using max settings in a graphically demanding game.

For 1080p and no ray tracing the rx7600 makes this an 800 dollar pc and I was getting around 150fps with fsr quality and 90/100fps native 1080 ultra settings

Avoid the 4060ti, literally spend $50 more and get a used 3080/6800xt or if you can’t spend more than $400 for a gpu get the 6800 non xt.

This was a very good build but I think there should have been different settings in each game, so like playing on max settings then mid settings and so on for each game.

4060 Ti is strictly for 1080P. It’s got a slow memory BUS + only 8GB VRAM. Wouldn’t be surprised if it even struggled in a couple years a 1080P.

4060Ti card is trash. I hate to say it but the 4070 is the lowest anybody should go in the 40 series if they absolutely need a new card and can’t go above the $1000 mark after tax.

Please reconsider your PSU choice. It's rated E on the PSU tier list which means avoid at all costs. You can get much better C tier 650W PSUs for less money like a modular Kolink or an Aerocool Aero Bronze.

Have used this PSU on many builds and have had over a year on each build with no problems. Those tier lists are shit

For 400 ur better off getting the rx 6700xt 6750xt or if ur lucky 6800xt these cards have better vram

Because Nvidia is selling the 4060ti and 4060 as 1080p cards to hide the fact that they are giving you terrible price for performance compared to last generation.

@@furkantaylan8699 Yeah that's part of it.. on some games its just not enough if you want to play at high/ultra settings. Nvidia and AMD really messed up this generation of GPU's.. I'll gladly stick with my Sapphire Pulse 6800 until I see what next year brings.

@@lecter0111 yes it will. I currently run a 12600k with 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3600, 4TB nvme space, with a rx6800xt. It will run everything in ultra at 4K, with 80-85 FPS. And that’s all at stock clocks. OC on both I have seen 100 FPS average. This combo is a beast for being my living room gaming pc.

Unfortunate you decided to go with the rtx 4060 ti - not a good card. Something like the 6700 xt or 6800xt or around that range would have just been simply better. Other than that though, great build!

Yeah, agreed, this is an odd choice for a new build. 4060 ti kind of makes sense for some cases like a prebuilt with a bad PSU. For a build, RX 6700/6750 XT are about $310-330 and have 12gb VRAM. If used is ok, RX 6800 XT (16gb) and RTX 3080 (10gb) are around $400-450. The reviews for the 4060 Ti are pretty bad given that the die was cut down a lot, barely beats the 3060 ti, and still only has 8gb of VRAM

Wouldn’t the i5 13600k fit into the budget ? And instead of that 4060 Ti you could’ve gotten an RX 6700 XT or even RX 6750 XT for the same price and those two cards perform much better than the 4060 Ti.

@@ngbeli7175 Yes it would work with the motherboard in the video but you can’t overclock the CPU on that motherboard, you’d need a Z790 motherboard to be able to overclock the i5 13600k.

anyone watching this, DONT buy the 4060ti if you’re trying to build for under $1k! the 6700xt is a way better value outperforming the 4060ti in pure rasterization performance in almost every game. Its also about $50 cheaper than the 4060ti right now!
