Your channel is great to me for two main reasons: First, you explain not only how to do it, but also why it works the way it does. That way, I really learn something new I can use anytime I'm in the kitchen. Second, I enjoy the way you handle the traditional recipes. You show the proper way first, but then you give a cool and interesting twist to it. Best of both worlds! Also it looks like you guys have a lot of fun. :)
Accidentally vegan recipes are the best vegan recipes.
I’m an African guy living in the USA I’ve always loved the Turkish food and I was so happy when I found your Chanel Turkish content in English I’ve been watching your videos since then learning a lot about your cuisine and cooking techniques in general thank you for all the hard work
Refika dear, I have been following you for over two years. I am a grandmother and cooking daily for 5. And I still find new ideas from you. Keep up the good work !!! The Turkish cuisine is sooo rich, and so tasty. It would be a pity not to share :)))))
I am a Muslim and so the vegan and vegetarian dishes are great for us. We are about to move to the US and meat is not always halal. Learning more recipes is a must and growing is a must too for as u know everything is becoming more expensive. I am appreciative the channel does not feature pork dishes that I have to skip on other channels. My husband and I will be trying every dish you have featured 😁 Spring I see is the perfect time to start. The temperatures and measurements are a super bonus since it is different in the US vs Turkey. Every shot of Turkey 🇹🇷 makes us want to visit soon as we can. 🙏
Congratulations. I've been a fan for a long time now and have watched you from New Zealand. Recently moved to my homeland in Germany. I'm a vegetarian and enjoy your veg and vegan Mediterranean dishes. most of your dishes are translatable into a vegetarian version. I grew up with Turkish neighbours and remember making Kofte and did so recently to a pot luck party, it was very popular. where do you get some of your unique dishes from...
I absolutely adore your channel. I love your enthusiasm and sense of humour. It feels like watching a family member inviting you to their kitchen.
Why I like Refika’s channel: clear, detailed and reproducible, almost scientific, instructions that comes with explanations on the whys and how to check if the “done” criteria. We made some professional looking dishes following recipes on this channel. This channel connects the zero to the hero inside of us ❤️
I love Refrika and team’s channel !! ❤️ (greetings from Hong Kong !) It’s my first exposure to Turkish food since the Humous video and since then I watched all of your videos and they are really eye-opening, the way Turkish cuisines are cooked, the type of food and the ingredients you used are very different from what I had grown up with. I tried to make your Humous, Menemen, Pide and Meatballs, all of them were very delicious and my family enjoyed them so much !! (I have sent you an email a few days ago to show you what I have cooked) Really want to visit Turkey, and would love to get the chance to win one of the gift hehe. Will send the gift to my parents so that they can enjoy the good tools with your cookbook and youtube channel. Sending love and support, really love your content, I watch your new videos every weekend. Take care team and thank you !!
All so yummy !!!
I am a newly mobility-challenged 77 year old, who was, once a very good cook...My reason for watching and enjoying and saving and learning from your videos, is that I find I Want to eat this food you make: It's all healthy, delicious, and I now use the kind of knife you use, to accommodate my stiff and less functional hands, and chopping as you do, and, it all 'works' for me, and is delicious.
Thank you for the vegan recipes.
Love your channel for so many reasons
I am an American (Kentucky) ,but I live in Germany ..Right now I am in Side, Turkey.I have fallen in love with Turkish food ,and will cook it when I get back to Germany...So glad I found your channel!
I love your channel because the recipes remind me so much of my grandma's cooking, I am originally from Bulgaria. My grandma passed away a while ago, so your videos always bring me a lot of soft sweet nostalgia ❤️ congrats on 500k followers xx
Congrats Refika and the team! Me (Finnish) and my partner (Turkish) live in Belgium and we watch your videos together, so I can learn Turkish kitchen and he gets to drool to your recipes 🤤
I love watching food shows. I flip through the channels and pick shows that look interesting. I found your channel last year and have been watching ever since. I go on you tube several times a day waiting for you to post new shows. I enjoy learning about new foods. Every country has different ways of preparing different foods but I enjoyed watching the way you present the Turkish foods and culture. I enjoy your enthusiasm of your love for your Country. That is very nice to see at this time with all the issues happening around the world. I will continue watching as long as you are on you tube because I do love Rafika’s kitchen.
I Like this Channel because believe I was Turkish in my last life, coming here is like going home.
Thank you, I love vegan options.
