How do you calculate the breast dart width and why isn't the front longer than the back? Women usually have breasts take make the front longer.

On my pattern, back is point 1 to point 3 , it is 65.7 cm. The front is point 18 to point 34 , it is 68.2 cm . So front is 2.5 cm longer than the back

@@geringergasse2 yes , this method does not work for figures with pronounced bust shaping, but if the design requires less bust shaping, the dart size can be reduced to half the standard dart measurement
