Eddie Kendricks is my favored American Black male sex symbol. Tall, dark, handsome, cool and exceptionally talented. He is just an exceptional American Black male specimen. Smokey Robinson was cute too, with a great falsetto voice, but he wasn'tmy "type." When I was growing up, I felt that every Black male singing group, had lyrics that celebrated every aspect of the American Black woman. We all felt special, whether we were in a relationship or not. What made Eddie so good was that he was a real, naturally gifted Falsetto, as opposed to Prince who though amazingly gifted, can't hold a candle to Eddie's Falsetto singing. The song "Kiss" is written for a Falsetto, Princed pulled it off, but if Eddie where alive, he would take it to that level. It's like comparing the skills of LeBron and MJ. Comparing Falsetto's amoung two great musicians is pretty much the same idea. That's why I mentioned Prince, and the song Kiss.

@@mcfact1827 Sounds like your being overly sensitive. I acknowledged that Prince was an amazing musician. My commentary was not to take a swipe a Prince. Prince has to stretch his vocal range to sing Falsetto, Eddie Kendricks is a natural Falsetto. He can sing Falsetto all day long. Prince can't, because it's out of his natural vocal range, and he would strain his voice. That's just a fact. Not a swipe, at Prince, but an accurate analysis.
