you think it’s important he talk past the real issue? An income of 168k pays the same as a billionaire? he could’ve farted into the microphone and we would’ve learned more about taxes.

My monthly income is about half of what the government’s monthly poverty level. I’m on SSDI. I would love to have some help with cleaning. I live in a lot of pain and it prevents me from doing a lot on my own. I purchased a curtain rod 6 months ago. I can’t find or afford anyone to do that and other small jobs. Thanks for staying on this Senator Sanders.

Thanks to Congress, I lost my ACP which allowed me to receive free internet. Now I have to pay $29.95 a month. That is a huge amount in my world.

It is true. Many seniors live on very little, social security must be solvent, and those in low-income range should get a COLA increase yearly. HOWEVER, we do not need new and never-ending programs that rape the young workers. If elderly income is low, they qualify for welfare. We cannot be responsible for everyone else to 'ensure' some kind of equality. The younger generations NEVER had the benefit of the high wages of the boomers, many of whom just spent that money on new cars, bigger homes, etc., rather than save it for retirement. Now they expect the young to give them money so they can maintain their status. 'Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.' As for pensions, blame the government, arm and arm with industry, for shipping manufacturing jobs to China.
