Been using these for 15 years or more they are brilliant , and fast ,,downside is they shred the batteries even duracel ,,

U Recon it cud somehow be wired up via usb and powered of a power bank?

I've stripped line off my reels by hand and also tried to use a drill with a toilet roll tube attached so this looks good.Thanks for Sharing.👍

Now try it on wet line and see how good it is, I won one of these line strippers in a raffle and it was in the bin after a few days. OK on dry line over 20 lbs but on wet 15 lbs its crap, The line just slips , I use multiplyers not FS reels but I doubt there's much difference.

+southerner4566 have to admit I wouldn't need to use it on wet line as it would only be used once or twice a year to change my mainline over. I've used it on 12lb line and braid and it's been pretty good to be fair. thanks for commenting though, always good to get a balanced review!

Im a shore angler and change my line nearly every trip .I won one of these line strippers and found it didn't work at all if the line was wet as it just slipped.

I wish people would actually tell me why they've put a thumb down
