this is by far the best club in the world. make the experience of loosing the world around u for one night. this club has created his own world and u are the protagonist. whatever u want to do. whoever u want to become. this club gives u the opportunity to turn ur dreams into reality.

Its a shame, i would have loved to been able get in, I didnt expect to, just a shame that you get turned away even if the soul reason you're there is to dance and feel the music.

If you have been to this club then you will understand why videos/photos are prohibited. Many professionals come here on a weekend to escape reality in many different forms. Taking pictures invades other's privacy. Things happen in berghain that should only be whitnessed by eyesight and held in ones memory forever- not videoed! Respect the rules.

You can't escape from gay people (men and women) in Berlin's nightlife, get used to it :-). The club is divided in two parts, Panoramabar (upstairs) and Berghain. On Fryday's only Panoramabar is opened, there's a good mix of people. On Saturday (till Sunday late....) there are about 70% gay people down under in Berghain, but it's you own choice to go there. There's still a lot of men/women flirting ... Just make sure to have FUN

Just don't be to enthusiastic, keep a low profile, don't overdress, don't come in big groups. The guy at the door isn't that bad as he looks!!! actually he is very nice. Have fun!

better go Frankfurt and some Clubs around Mannheim (search "Kinki Palace" on youtube). The best clubs are here around. Kinki Palace is proberly the best club in germany. I´m living in Ludwigshafen just on the other riverside of Mannheim so i know the clubs here very well.

@WKDJamie I went last weekend. Keep your head down, don't dress up, don't be loud, don't be too jolly, don't go in a large group and don't speak (English). I noticed that the people that got turned away were folk that looked under 25 and dressed overly trendy. Sounds extreme but that's how you will get in. It's worth it though, as once you're inside it's fucking immense.

I do agree, I do agree!!! For me this is also one of the World Leading Clubs! But you have to know the right spots in the Netherlands. Come and take a look this Saturday in Catwalk, Rotterdam: Raresh (Cocoon, RO), Joey Daniel (300MPH, We Are E, NL), Hilbert Stoon (Piekup, NL). Other clubs are in Europe like Souvenir in Barcelona that look verry much like Berghain.

100% agreed. been to both places. I had great night at Fabric in 2006 (eargasm party) and the other fairly dissapointing March 2009. Berghain is to my opinion the last european superclub devoted to dancing with partygoers understanding what they came for.

Berghain is perfect, I have been there 3 weeks ago. Bouncers are really cool and chilled people, and com'oooooon, we was talking with that ale"scarry" Sven and he was very pleasant guy! I like Berghain, there is no restrictions with havig fun, in that case U can do everything what U want, be naked and dance like nobody's watching U. there's no irksome photographers or other stuff...

i looked for this video because i wanted to see the vibe of the place... i agree with the no video policy but i wouldn't even think of this as violating it. You see no detail, no faces, so there's no problem.

Im coming from new york in a few weeks to go to germany again and this time im doin berlin and hitting up berghain , im used to hard ny house and tribal just like this shit, and in ny we go all night every weekend so i cant wait for berlin and this video says to me it will be a good trip.

i am so lucky to go there twice and everytime i was lucky to get in, I have no idea how they picked people in, but i think you need to look cool, not cheezy look, but european cool, and it's gay club so if you are gay, it's highly possible to get in, but under this circumstance, 1. no shouting 2. no big groups, 3. no acting like north americans 4. speaking english should be ok but with people from differnt countries, just keep low key... no VIP and then u can enjoy the best music on the planet

Well, you need to look like you're to dance for hours and hours. They don't want people who just stand and watch, so don't come in high-heels or pumps and mini-skirt, that's not what the Berghain is about. It's not about posing. Look stylish and cool but not too overdressed or preppy. And sometimes it's just bad luck but all in all it's not about model-looks, that's why the atmopshere is so special there.

Girl, you are writing like you know the club, like you know the door policy. You are judging things you'd only read about at the internet (like so many stupid people who can't form their own opinion) I am very happy that not everyone could come in, its a special vibe in this house where you could forget the world outside, thats one point why you should feel the moment, not facing it in videos or pictures. There are plenty of underground party's left in the world were only people come to party. But sadly, they only have budget for friends who can DJ :(

go in small groups, don't speak english, don't be drunk, and be prepared for a looonnnnggg wait. it's worth it though.

To the author of this - you should be ashamed! Berghain does not have many rules, but one is no photos/videos! This means that people can feel free to do what they like without fear of their privacy being infringed upon by seeing themselves on the internet! Can you not observe a simple rule? Have some respect! And the bouncers are decent people! If you are too loud or drunk, you dont get in. Berghain is kept for people who appreciate and love it - the rest can fuck off!

without its door policy the club wouldnt be what it is... it would be just like fabric london. excellent dj's and artists, great venue, amazing sound system.. but overall a let down due to overpacking the club with posers and twats that have no interest in dancing. this is where fabric falls flat on its arse.

hmmmmm, yes varity of clubs in berlin is unbeaten, i dont deny this fact. But the best clubs are not in berlin (ok maybe berghain is the best club in this music style ---> minimal house or whatever), but the best nightclubs at all are not in berlin. Hope u understand what i want to say...

Haha please keep your shirt on when entering, it's your own choice if you take it of. If you're downstairs (Berghain) you will see that a lot of men are topless, but not everyone (like me) has a fitness body :-). If you go upstairs you won't see that many topless men.
