Very ingenious! Why not get an engineering firm/company to make up a 2 pin version for Berdan cartridges and market it! You will make money on it! It makes you wonder why the big reloading company's haven't came up with this idea! Keep the ideas coming and well done!

2 pins require precision spacing , one pin does not

probably interesting but since it's totally out of focus it's hard to see what's hapening...

Wolverine, if you are going to do this decaping on the berdan primers, then you must be reloading with berdan primers. How is that going for you? Any problems doing it, or in the performance of the rounds? Or are you decaping the cases, then converting them to boxer primers?

when I have time I make a video of it (promise) but there is no problem to reload berdan primers! I use „Tula Non Corrosive Berdan Primer“ but only rarely RWS (that are too expensive) where are you from?

well done! Honestly CAN I PAY YOU TO MAKE ME ONE AND SEND TO ME PLEASE. I've been trying all the methods to deprime some S&B berdan brass an they all fail, primers are not even crimped. The RCBS tool is just useless and mangles the brass time and time again. Or if you are not keen then at lease can you give me the details of the parts you are using as a depriming pin.

Only works with Uncrimped primers. Most Milsurp Berdan is crimped, either a full Ring (.303 Brit) or a 3x120° stab). The only reliable Method is Chisel Tool, or Hydraulic. BTW, not all Berdan holes are co-axial. A lot are slanted. SO pins won't work. Been there, done it all in 55 years of Berdan reloading.

Now make a swaging die that will compress the brass anvil and convert it to boxer primed. Then sell them as a kit.

HaHaHa brilliant idea! but that would be too easy for me ;) (but I like the thought) but my problem is the difference in diameter of boxer and berdan primers.

Super glue, lock tight or some other sealant will make a large rifle boxer primer stay in.

emptybottleof151 is too complicated for me glue every single primer, the key to success lies in the simplicity (but I like your thought)

a 2 pin version is too fragile (I've already tried) the big companies like Lyman, RCBS, K&M Shooting ect. are not interested! and if I prodoziere it myself and Sales it would cost approximately 100 US$ (without shipment and taxes) and there are not many the still use berdan primers!

Neat little setup. I just built one today from your video. Not nearly as nice looking as yours since I was dealing with my old scrap but doable. I made the decapping rod threaded so I can screw a new one on if the pin breaks. The top lever hole was sized so I can use this for berdan and boxer (think universal decapper). I also added a small part on the base which mounts to my bench with a C-clamp. This is mounted on top of an old paper plate which serves to catch spent primers. Saved me a bunch of time, compared to the hydraulic decapper I made which was time consuming at best. My only concern about this mini press is the longevity of the pin I made. I did not notice that in your design it appears you made a mini collet to use the shanks of drill bits. This seems much more durable than my one piece turned decapper which is just mild steel hardened in the old vegetable oil I used for my breakfast.
