My only problem is that this ability can only be done within the game's system, since by messing with the past would cause damage to the real world. In most settings, this can only possibly occur in the system, where the causality is not real, allowing it to be bendable without creating a paradox.

I'm not even sure about that, wasn't everyone (excluding players) NPCs while Alice was the AI? That's right, the dark god of this game/world was killed by an NPC 🤦🏽‍♂️

@@TheHobbyExpert All of the people in Underworld had a fluclight; so they were all AI. They were just unable to break rules. Alice was able to break it. Ironically enough, Eugeo would've been the first one to do this but he died a few seconds (real world time) after he broke through code 851.

In my opinion one of the best fights in the whole series

I fully expected Bercouli to either die or get saved at the by Sinon. Hell even at the end, I thought Vecta would still get him cause I didn't think his god account could be killed. Was legitimately blown away that we actually got Bercouli slaying a god. Fucking amazing writing.

I really enjoyed this scene. Maybe my favorite moment in the entire series. Bercouli isn't even a main character, so why would he beat the big bad guy? Definitely wasn't expecting the fight to conclude the way it did lol.

Okay first of all this animation is amazing, then omg Bercouli ability is so damn cool and interesting, that's sad that we didnt get more fights with him

I’ve never really been super into this anime, but this season changed that. Maybe it’s because it focused on someone else besides kirito, maybe it’s because we hardly saw him. But this season felt like an entirely different anime. From the story, to the fights, to the illustrations and animation. Wow, they were absolutely amazing in this clip. I couldn’t believe I was watching SAO. Simply amazing.

Realistically speaking, in the underworld if that admin account wasn't destroyed by Bercouli nobody would be able to actually beat him. Bercouli was the only one that could destroy Vecta. And he did just that. usually, the main character would things like this. SAO gave us something different. thanks for that

It’s symbolic because the person that beat the dark god was the strongest Knight, but the person who beat the invading outlander enemy was kirito. Bercouli beat the strongest being in the underworld while kirito defeated the strongest invader I kinda like that tbh they both got to shine and I love it

One of the best fights in anime for me, I love the thematics, the SFX of Bercoulis sword, the strategy, the surrounding events it’s just fucking brilliant. The committing to the sacrifice without backing out, it’s actually perfect imo.

After seeing this fight. I can tell solo leveling future is secured

Look at the Sao alicization fights, I think they are pretty damn grand and awesome. There is a whole war in the sao which is animated and it is grand . I have read solo leveling and I think they will smash it if they do it correctly brother. Well we can only speculate its upto the studio at last haha

This entire fight I was saying out loud to myself “damn bercouli sucks why do they always make the enemies so overpowered until I realized he was just fighting so he could get into the perfect spot for his move that he summoned before he EVEN GOT ON THE PLATFORM BECAUSE HE KNEW IT WOULD BE A KILL! Bro I was mind blown

You know a character is badass if his badassness changes the artstyle, and he is given an OST with similarities to Swordland. Bercouli by far earns the title of the strongest SAO character.

Remember, Vector wasn't just Sauron. He was a dark god, effectively the Devil. Imagine if, on the day of Armaggedon, one of the Pope's Swiss Guard got in a shit-kicking match with Satan and KILLED HIM.

Came here again to hype myself up for the animation solo leveling is gonna get. I am now hyped what an amazing fight.

No. Gabriel literally regained the Dark God abilities in his GGO account thanks to Incarnation (hence why he could absorb Incarnation and create the Void Blade) Kirito would have beaten him still. Admin account or not since Gabriel already regained access to that account's abilities via Incarnation. And to a greater extent in fact

He probably had one of the best resolutions to his character in all of sao

The dragon in this scene is underrated. That was fuckin epic how he snatched up Vecta and then roasted him while he's still in his mouth.

Now that Solo Leveling is registered to A1 Pictures I guess we can assure that the animation will be something like this

Was 100 pedcent sure watching this for the first time the he was dead to rights in the begginning since they hes fighting against the main villian. As it went on I said to myself that this man is putting up a good fight and when the last few events started to occur I was wondering how vecta was gonna plot armor his way out. Glad he didnt honestly cuz i popped off knowing that and npc actually got justice.

For an antagonist that specializes in firearms and assassinations, Vecta did pretty well as a sword fighting “demon lord” ⚔️, had he never miscalculated the “fantasy game” gimmicks then he could have won and get his paycheck.

俺もそれ勘違いしてたんやけど、そのシーン含めて、アニメとして我々から見た時には10分前の姿が幻影みたいに見えてるけど、ベルクーリから見るとそんなものはなくて、10分前の位置を記憶を頼りに感覚で予想して切ってるだけ。ベクタとの戦闘中の「見つけたぜ」の時もモヤみたいな幻影は視聴者に見えてるだけで、見つけたのは、その下の地面にある自らの血痕だけ。それを目印に10分前の位置を正確に思い出して切っただけという。 結論:ベルクーリさんカッコよすぎ。

@@blumte9087 そうそう、最初の裏斬は空中で正確な位置も把握しずらいからベクタに当たればラッキー程度で飛竜がいた場所を斬って落とす（足止め）事が主な目的だったんだと思う。

@@skychieftain Bercouli was pretty much in a near death state this fight was over when Vector send him flying even Bercouli attempted he lost and apologized to Alice & Alice Hoshigami never intervened he only bought him time to slice Vector’s past Kirito in SAO & SAO II had plot armor even when he was in near death situations and he was alone like when he fought Heathcliff by himself.

He had plot armor through that dragon looking thing interrupting the fight and buying him time. If not for that, he would have lost, fair and square. Just when the other guy is winning fair and square, a distraction pops up and the time sword guy ends up winning. So in a fair fight (without the dragon popping up conveniently), the time sword guy would have lost. Simple

The sword is linked to the time of the server's clock. He can attack the future by storing an attack power at a specific location which is released at a specific server time in the future, which vecta blocked/grabbed in the beginning of the fight. The server also records the location of player movements for the previous 10 minutes (600 seconds), and the sword can attack someone based on their location exactly 601 seconds ago which is why you see him counting when he's looking for vecta's past (the counting was cut from this video).
