Benzos Getting Off Of Them Doesnt Have To Be Terrible
Being dependent on Benzodiazepines and getting off of them does not have to be terrible. Avoid the terrible storys and stick to the positive

Thanks for emphasizing that a slow and long taper can help. I would still be tapering if it had been up to me. If had a non-physician taper me too quickly after being on a benzo for 40 years and it has been very tough

Thank you for video, I am going thru this and cant believe the horrible videos. All the recommendations you mention are exactly what I am using. Truth is its not easy and most people don't wont to go thru the discomfort, they don't realize discomfort right now and they can avoid a hellish health hazard in years to come.

I take lorazepam for my anxiety and panic attacks , I got on the medication because I was having bad anxiety and panic attacks . The medication takes the panic attacks and lowers the anxiety to a manageable state . My question is why doesn’t a person think that they’re not going to have their panic attacks and their anxiety when they stop taking the medicine if you don’t do something to change this, you’re GABA receptors are going to cause you, panic attacks and anxiety . The GABA receptors had to be jacked up to begin with.

Thanks for giving me hope. Been on colonzapam for over 20 years. Take 1mg twice a day. My doc thinks cut me to 1mg a day for a month then nothing. I will taper myself off. Hope it’s as easy as your journey has been.

I spoke to a tapering specialist who has tapered tens of thousands of patients and he told me that the majority taper comfortably. They just don't go online to discuss it because it isn't a thought. Only the suffering create videos and online posts to find someone to relate to.

My endocrinologist put me on 15 yrs ago. I'm on 1.5 per day & so scared to even speak to a dr about coming off. I don't know, but I'm looking for a way off that allows me to function & not wreck my gut. I think I won't even tell my dr. I had 1 dr say they would taper me off at 1/4 a pill ever 2wks. That sounded rapid to me. I had to switch docs & have been scared ever since. I need a good taper plan🙏

@@THXx1138 Ahhh, you're one of those people. Yes there is a small dose in relation to others. A person coming off 10mg of xanax after daily use for years is going to have a much more difficult time than someone coming off .25mg for a much shorter duration. If you are struggling with a taper or withdrawal, I feel for you, but everyone is different. I know people who have used for years and stop CT without issue. I've also spoken with a Dr. who specializes in tapering benzos. He has treated tens of thousands of patients and he stated that the majority of benzo users can come off comfortably during their taper. Only a small percentage have severe withdrawal issues. This is a positive video and he is in the majority at the moment. Go somewhere else with your negativity. Perhaps on one of the horror videos. God bless.
