Another great comparison video guys! I was lucky enough to have a M8 Comp on track all day Monday, it literally ran rings around everything else, the damp/cold UK conditions help keep temps down. I really wasn't expecting 1900kg to feel so nimble and accurate 👌 Video on my channel coming soon 🎬😉

Joe Achilles really says something that a non m product is able to stick it to the big guns. I still think the American products Mustang GT500 and Camero ZL1 LE are worth a consideration at the m850’s price point.

Interesting that the Bentley V8 has no rear-wheel steering when the W12 has it. I think in the V8 it makes even more sense as it is less powerful but in general more sporty.

Yeah, it makes sense because the V8 is not as heavy and bulky (in fact, it's 1/3 lighter), so it doesn't spoil the balance all that much and it makes the car more agile in the bends.

W12 GT does not have rear wheel steering, but Flying Spur does.

It's funny how even the big, soft, luxurious Bentley is faster on track than a lighter, 800hp Hellcat, wearing more track focused tires too.

It’s funny how the Bentley costs 3x as much and has AWD. Hellcats struggle for traction. Give me the Hellcat, GT500, and a used Camaro instead of 1 Bentley.

The Bentley is turbo’d as well - so just because you can hear turbos on one car - doesnt mean THAT car will win. Especially when they are BOTH TURBO’D. Douche comment alert!!!

@@navminhas412 yes u r paying for a vw developed chassis first out in early 2000s for the vw phaeton that cost 60k, modified by porsche in 2016 with a v8 engine that can be found in Audis costing a 3rd of the price and in Porsche's costing half the price. Congratulations for paying 200k extra over the Audi and 150k extra over the porsche for fancy leather and a badge.

@@tempusfugit9796 prices quoted are in the states but even in the uk the prices u r saying r wrong. Optioned m8 competition is about 130k british pounds, a completely base bentley continental starts at 150k British pounds. So again, wrong

Dependent Director bmw looks like a nerds dream. Nothing wrong with that though.

The speed differential is huge, so much so there is enough time to look at the speed of the BMW and then the Bentley at every corner and straight to look at the braking and speed achieved! We all know which one we would choose though... the extra customisation of the Beney (of course at cost) puts it in another class altogether. The M850i isn't even that fast compared to other fast cars but speed isn't everything so there's no doubt it will still have a place in many collections.

I'm a bmw fan but that Bentley is just bueatiful. I like the interior and exterior. M8 is good looking as well but I'd rather get the grand coup

Hashbro 786 nah you did see the m850i was enough to crush the V8 , the W12 is probably slower than the V8 GT so the M8 crushes both of them as well as the m850i does

The only thing I'm really referring to is that when you think of Bentley, you don't think of performance, but of amenities!, with which Bentley is known for! BMW has proven that Luxury and performance can coexist perfectly! Bentley is getting there. I could have them both in my garage! Lol. I'm a BMW person, and will always be! But for personal preference for a pure status, the Bentley gets the nod!

Bentley is double the price. Thats a huge difference, and so is 2 seconds faster😎. Im an enthusiast so id take the M850 any day of the week

After the 1st corner it was all over got the Bentley, he was coming in 10kms slower. Beautiful car though.

The BMW completely missed the first corner, went way too wide.

BMW M8 Xdrive 4.4L V8 Twin Turbo AWD 625hp, It is stronger than GTR 565hp and Nismo 600hp.

Nobody is going to drive like that on public roads. Bentley please!!

It's funny the Bentley seemed to take almost every corner faster than the Beemer but it just couldnt keep up on the acceleration out of the Apex or along the straightaways.

Would love to get the M8 but BMW’s V-8’s have let me down. I lack the expertise, money and time for the upkeep.

I have one complaint about the BMW, why haven’t they adopted the more modern and higher performance dual clutch setup? Just imagine how fast the M8cs will be!

The Bentley looks so special! It deserves a real lightweight version for a 1.600kg vehicle. The GT3 race car even sounds amazing. How good would be one like that for the street?

Performance the BMW took it but I'd prefer the Bentley due to quality of details inside and out. To each is own though, both nice cars.

The Bentley would be a perfect fit, but the s class coupe has that zero g suspension camera thing that I'm shocked no one has managed to recreate. Mercedes has effectively held onto perfect comfort suspension technology for 3-4 years now and no one else appears to be bothered.
