For two reasons: Biden’s ego, and the inability for Democratic politicians to take a risk and run a competitive primary. Just think how different things would be if there was a Democratic primary debate and we were able to digest this situation and have democratic options to decide on. The Democratic Party loves to exclaim they have an amazing bench of new leaders but they’re no where to be found in the most critical moment our party and country has faced. It’s absolute malpractice and Democratic voters should put a hatchet to the entire party power structure if we end up with Trump 2.0 with a full Republican congress. The understanding i have from my anecdotal experience is they cant wont vote for Biden for national security reasons and they are democrats. They will stay home. Give us hope. @@nickmorris9383 Obviously, but statistically it shows an alternative to Biden will dramatically increase the number of voters who come out on election day. This is why we're having the discussion. No one who would vote for Biden would not vote for his alternative, but many who would not turn out for Biden WILL turn out for an alternate candidate.

Love Senator Michael Bennett. I supported him in the 2020 primaries. When he lost, I supported Joe Biden. I voted for Joe Biden and am proud of that vote. He accomplished a great deal in his first two years when he had a Democrat Congress. However, he should pass the baton to a new generation of Democrat leaders. A majority of Americans are yearning to turn the page on Trump and Biden. Please Democrats, give Americans that choice.

His generation has already left the future generations with less opportunity, not more. That isn't a fear of the future. It's happening now.

Michael Bennet is an intelligent person who has spoken reasonably on various different matters. He is not someone who is careless in his thinking , so I think that his assessment should be considered as an honest opinion.
