BENN TK TRANSITION - Extended Tutorial (Cambodia, Thailand)

Фильм және анимация

For today's video I'm showing you how to create a really cool transition used by Benn TK in his travel videos from Thailand and Cambodia. The style of this video is a bit different and unfortunately the quality isn't the same as my other tutorials, but I hope you learn something nonetheless!

Most of us probably won't execute vfx because of how much patience and experimentation it requires. So I think we can all agree that in consideration of just this single transition, we now have an even stronger appreciation for vfx we see in action movies. AND of course an appreciation for Aidin's effort undergone to put into this. Thankfully the water didn't get to your computer, mate! Side note: Such effects are not simply a plugin (yet?) so I guess we won't be seeing it abused like luma fade and zoomy zooms. PHEW.

Amazing video once again! But I have a question. I currently have the Lumix G7 with the kit 14-42mm and 25mm lenses. I was wondering what you thought of the 14-42mm f3.5-5.6? I'm thinking of entering the market for a new replacement lens for the 14-42. I was looking at the 12-60mm. what do you think of that lens? I would like an all around lens that gets up close but also zooms to a decent mm. What are your opinions/recommendations? thanks! Keep up the great videos.

Hi, thanks for the videos, it has helped me a lot to understand how to make videos. I'm a hairdresser and I'm going to start recording video lessons, we'll use two DSLR canon SL2, one to film the whole complete space (me, the model and assistant) and for that purpose what canon lens tells me? the second camera will be used to film only the head of the model to better show how I am cutting the hair of the same, and for this camera what lens tells me? in short, a lens to film three people and another lens to just to film the model's head. It does not have to be lenses with good focus because the background of the scene is totally white. I need good, inexpensive lenses to film my course.

Aidin I NEED YOUR HELP! I am dying to be able to use Hitfilm since I discovered it like a month ago But I have being unable because everything looks so small and is so difficult to read or identify its icons that using it is so stressing, frustrating and painful that I just can't use it :( I must say that I see quite well and I don't use or need prescription glasses. My set up is fixed, I do use a full HD 35" TV Screen and I have to seat at around 2 meters. Because of the nature of my set up and the room I can not seat close to the TV, to seat that close to the TV is actually quite uncomfortable because of the size, I am actually at the best distance. I also can not buy new Screen just for this program. I have googled this issue and is so common that I can not understand why the developers have not come up with a solution. I Have tried all the suggested solutions, change the Windows resolution, change the adaptive DPI, the % of size of the windows items, I used it at 180% because since this is a HD 1920 x 1080 Scree everything looks quite small, But I do not have any problem with any other program that I use at all, just Hitfilm. When I get Hitfilm set up in a way that I can read it and identify Icons easily it dose not fit on the screen and I loose around a third of the right side and the bottom making it useless. I can not understand how such an advance software can not be adjusted. I know for all that I have read that developers are quite aware of this issue but it seems they don't care at all, it seems the only advice is to not use HD screens with it, which make no sense at all if you are working with images, and these days many people are starting to use 4K smart TV or Higher resolution Screens with their computers so this is just going to get worst. So my question would be are you aware of any work around this issue or can you recommend me a Free software with similar capabilities that do not have this issue? I also read that people that use more than one scree have this issue with Hitfilm too. Love your videos buy the way, I just hope I could practice this one for example, but I can't at the moment.

Check your TV settings first. TVs tends to overpocess image by default that causes blurred unreadable mess instead of clear text. FullHD on 35" from a distance of 2m should be perfectly readable. All in-TV processing should be OFF. P.S. Hitfilm has a support forum, it's the question that should be asked there if my advice won't help.
