Bengaluru Company Gives Staff 30 Mins Sleep Break | ISH News

Who doesn't want to give a boost to the body with a short power nap on a busy office day.
While working in an organization which allows you to take a sleep break between your hectic working schedules is surely a dream for any employee.
The idea might surprise you, but a Bengaluru based start-up has officially announced a 30-minute power nap for its employees during the workday. Wakefit solutions is a company which manufactures mattresses, pillows and other home and sleep related products and their business in a way is directly related to sleep. According to the post, Wakefit co-founder Chaitanya Ramalingegowda recently sent an internal email to colleagues announcing that employees can now take a quick sleep break between 2 and 2.30 pm. They are also working towards creating cozy nap spaces and quiet rooms in the office to build the perfect nap environment for the employees, the company further said in the email. According to the mail sent by the company's co-founder as the company has been into the sleeping business for almost 6 years, they now think it is important to think about a sleeping solution for their own employees along with their customers. Also it has been mentioned in the email that, A NASA study reveals that a 26-minute power nap can enhance performance by 33%, while a Harvard University study shows how naps prevent burnout and enhance thinking capabilities. However, most people on the internet appreciated this initiative by this Bengaluru based startup, and agreed to the fact that a 30 minute long nap in between the working hours will definitely enhance their working performance and will surely help in the company's growth.

    Interesting idea!!! But I don't think every employee will take a nap every afternoon! I guess Deaf don't need a nap because they surely have a sound sleep free from noise pollution!!!! :) :) :)
