Bengals WR Tee Higgins speaks about Damar Hamlin
Bengals receiver Tee Higgins said he's "in a good place" following a positive update on Damar Hamlin's health.
Higgins was the last person to have contact with Hamlin before he went into cardiac arrest. While the Buffalo Bills safety is still in critical condition at UC Medical Center, doctors said Hamlin is awake and his neurological function is intact. He has been able to hold and grip his family's hands and communicate with doctors through writing.
Hamlin's mother spoke with Higgins Thursday to tell him the good news.

Tee higgins is a great kid been watching him since he was in Knoxville playing hs he been a professional since he was 14 stay out of trouble and just played ball he was raised right..first thing he did was call damars mom

This poor man in our Queen City has undertone so much hate. It was a freak accident. He didn’t cause it. It’s a medical emergency that is isn’t he medical field don’t see from young healthy 24 yr olds very much. They were playing the game they loved and doing their job.

Accidents happen and unfortunately this was a bad one. Hats off to the first responders. It makes the situation a lot easier to deal with when there is such a good understanding from both sides about the situation. It was great to see all the love and support that these two men were getting. The world needs a lot more of that.

Coming from a bills fan anybody who puts tee down because if the injury is a piece of crap. Higgins is awesome, he did nothing wrong besides do his job. How the fck would he have known damar was going to go into cardiac arrest? He was going for the first down, not to hurt someone. Unfortunately these things can happen. Football is a physical sport. Anybody who plays it knows the risk of the game. I’m very glad damar was able to overcome this horrific incident tho. Kid is only 24 years young with a whole life ahead of him
