Totally agree, good observation. The Bengals made adjustments the complete suffocated the chiefs offense. Also the Bengals offense took advantage of the Chiefs defense.

Eagles vs 49ers in the NFC Championship game imo.The 49ers are the better team when 100 % healthy and the Ravens are yet 2 proven 2 win in the playoffs with Lamar. I think he only has 1 win.

@@realngga0 lol. Exactly. Was about 2 say that. Now the SB . I don't bet against the Chiefs. Idk. There D is nasty n the 49ers have problems on D. Pacheco should have at least 25 rushes. Lions did have 2 1000 yard Running backs but it should be very interesting.
This has arguably been one of the best years of football we've had in a very long time. Every week, starting from the season opener, there was a game dubbed as game of the year. And that continued through the playoffs with an amazing divisional round and championship games. Now the Bengals and Rams are in the SB and I think most people are happy about that (happy that it isn't Tom Brady or Mahomes at the very least).

Don't know about the season because I boycott'ed the NFL for their PC'ness but the playoffs are definitely the best I have ever seen. Hope the Superbowl is as well! I'm eager to see how many lemmings keep their masks on the entire game or if politicians will reconsider as County Supervisor Katheryn Barger is requesting. In reality, people should be able to say they are holding their breath just as Mayor Eric Garcetti stated he did! LOL!

Hopefully they can win one more. It won't always happen like this - let's not forget how close they were to losing the regular season game against the Chiefs, and if that had happened they likely wouldn't have even made the playoffs. But it does feel like this is a team that is much better at winning loseable games than they are at losing winnable games, which is something Bengals fans haven't been able to say in a long time.

Bengals are so well coached. Secondary went from swiss cheese to lockdown. The swats, big tackles, tip drills, etc. Never lost composure.

I hope he plays it smart and does not take record breaking contracts. If he plays it smart like brady and takes the minimum, and allows the extra money saved from not having to pay him be used for playmakers on the team around him, he could go on to win a lot more

What is funny is people think a 503 million dollar paid QB does not know how to throw the ball away in the playoffs in the bottom of the 4th. You think he really dropped back 20 yds and then fumbled the ball because of Bengals skill? The fix was in. The NFL legally presents itself as "entertainment" not a sport. That distinction allows them to rig games to create content and hype. Plenty of ex players and whistleblowers out there already talked about it. College football is listed as a sport. So their games are legit.

The face that Joey can do what he did last year...with THAT offensive line is truly remarkable. He had virtually no time on any of his snaps or sets and had to create plays on almost every down. Huge win and start to a very promising NFL career.
As a longtime 49er fan...I'm pulling for the Bengals to win their first Super Bowl. The Bengals were in two others and lost to my 49ers. The Bengal fans are deserving of a Super Bowl victory.

These Bengals remind me of my 2007 Giants. A 10-6 regular season, so had to go on the road. Beat the top seeds with the best offenses - Bucs, Dallas, and Green Bay. Even had the overtime game in the NFC Championship and won with a field goal. Giants had to beat a much tougher, undefeated 16-0 Patriots though whereas the Bengals face a tough but easier Rams. It really depends on which Matt Stafford shows up on Super Bowl Sunday because he can have stinkers.

Mad respect for the Bengals D, absolutely shut down the Chiefs in the second half. Higgins was huge for the offense. I'll definitely be rooting for them in the Super Bowl regardless of who comes out of the NFC.

Then why did I count at least 5 penalties on the Bengals that were not called?? I think the NFL wants Cincy to win. I saw a couple of offensive holding calls, 2DPI’s, as well as an OPI for a touchdown.

Has to go down as one of the greatest defensive adjustments in NFL history. Once they stopped bringing pressure they made coverage sack after coverage sack and they completely neutralized Mahomes by only bringing 3 and 4
Don’t be surprised if we see a rematch of these two teams this year in the championship game.

Chiefs have just won their 2nd straight Super Bowl. This was the last time they lost in the playoffs, maybe next year we can see an upset. I hope..
Bengals defense was incredible in the second half. The coverage was amazing. And even more impressive was the discipline of the d lineman. They contained Mahomes scrambling and ultimately made some huge plays down the stretch.

I'm 42, lived in southwest Ohio my whole life, been a Bengals fan, my grandfather was a Bengals fan, and after that win, thinking about how happy my grandfather would have been to see this game, I had tears, my wife was shocked as I am usually stoic, but this got me right in the feels... And now going up against a team that traded up, and shelled out so much money, picked up OBJ when he wasn't happy in Cleveland , a team that traded away first round draft picks for years to get to this game. The way I see it, Mahomes was trying to channel the Backyard Offense, but Cincinnati implemented a curfew. Mahomes tried to break the curfew, and instead he nearly fumbled the game away.

As a chiefs fan i loved this game well played on both sides of the ball and i am proud of this young bengals team but my favorite playoff game ever was that houston texans game 24-0
Even as a Jets fan I can’t help but smile watching a loyal fan-base who stuck by their team through thick & thin finally get what they deserved… I can only hope that it happens to us one day, till then I’ll still be holding on to that win over the Pats around a decade ago 💀

even now i'm still making sense of this game. one of the very few times i've seen Mahomes look shaken (albeit only for a handful of plays in the second half/overtime, but that was enough for the win). can't give enough credit to cincinnati's defense in the second half for being able to shut down an offense that had looked basically perfect from the end of the Bills game to the end of the first half here also i love Joe Burrow, 9:38 is a freakin amazing run (may as well shout out mahomes' throw at 2:28 too)

As a Steelers fan, I've never really hated the Bengals. I hated Vontaze Burfict for what he did to AB, but I had no problem with the Bengals. It was fun calling them the "Bungles" over the years, but good on them finally figuring it out and repping the AFC North! Every now and then, a team takes their number 1 overall pick and actually produces. They better savor it while it lasts; Burrow is gonna be asking for Mahommes money soon enough. Ben never asked for nearly as much, but it was still tough keeping those pro bowlers on offense and defense around.

They said they didn't even adjust anything. Mahomes just got yippy again like he did at midseason, he was scared to pull the trigger. The Chiefs needed to run the ball more, Bengals never stopped the run but the Chiefs went away from it. Andy Reid is terrible with a lead, props to the Bengals but the Chiefs lost the game more than they won it.

6:15... This, right here, was the turning point. Chiefs foresaw their inevitable collapse and tried to seal it early. Bengals adjusted and suffocated that offense completely. Joe Burrow & the offense were methodical BUT that Cincy defense was A+ to the very end. McPherson is🥶👍

I’m a fan of football before I’m a fan of my own team, so I always enjoy the playoffs regardless of who’s in. But I don’t think Iver ever been happier for a team to make it. Wow Bengals. So many years of disappointment. The two Super Bowl losses in the 80s. The seemingly endless streak of first round exits during the Lewis era. Simply amazing. The only way this would be better is if it was the 49ers waiting for you in SoFi (though I’m equally as happy for Stafford). Happy for you Cincy fans. Go get it

Eh, a lot of folks thought the Bengals would win vs Titans but the betting line had us as underdogs.
