Rounds before a successful peal of Bristol Surprise Maximus on this uninspiring ring of 12.
My camera-position skills have not improved. This time you can't see me on the 6th at all, but there's a pretty good view of mr louisisyourgod (youtuber) on the 5th and of the treble and 2nd ringers, Jo and Swaz.
There are serious acoustic problems with this ring of 12, which obviously haven't been addressed. They could be much better. The bells themselves are all quite good, in my opinion.

I quite like these, at least you HAVE 12s in your part of the world! And you've again picked quite a view!
@timmeh1507 Indeed. They could be good with the appropriate acoustic alterations. I shall let Mr Suggett know he has an admirer.
@AtTheBellEnd no no, don't worry about that lol :) In any case, you pointed the camera in that direction :P
@simonbellringer They're far too mushy. It seems impossible to enjoy ringing these. The front 4 bells are too quiet, and are pretty much inaudible when they're passing the back bells in changes. They go OK, but the ropes usually feel relatively springy and the draught is reasonably long.
@AtTheBellEnd Are they really that bad? They sound quite nice to me. Who said I was complaining?!
