When I dropped out (really I was kicked out for grades, but don't worry I graduated later) I was able to seek better mental health treatment and I now have more work experience than anyone else I graduated with. I had a great job before I even graduated because of my experience. I also wouldn't have met my current partner who I've been with for 3 years so honestly I'm glad I dropped out

Would you recommend dropping out of school is it worth it?

@@Doobyblue I think it really depends on the person. I think if you are really struggling like I was you really have to stop or you risk failing out. I was fortunate that I had a place to go and I had to find a good job with out my degree. If I had the perspective I do now I would've waited to go to a 4 year. If I could go back I would do everything possible at community college then go to a 4 year. I wasn't ready when I went so I wasted a lot of money and time. However, I know there are situations where someone shouldn't drop out so I'm not gonna say it's the right choice for everyone. I also know that when I took my break I had every intention of going back and finishing so I think if you plan on dropping out for good you have to have a back up plan because eventually no matter what you have pay back your loans.

@sachiikoko why drip out College life is awesome. Obviously the student has money problem but just cut down on your expenses. I have been doing acting jobs while in college and that is how I get money. Get creative on your income sources or else you will suffer. After my undergraduate in finance i intend to add specialization papers and acting will fund it all I would never miss out on college experience

Just imagine the many who actually didn't drop out and then now they're in debt and then they're so focused on trying to pay that bill how are they going to afford having a partner while trying to pay off that that debt and so many other factors you know the point in my life is to eliminate a lot of stresses that are necessary for the moment an eliminating College in 2012 cause me to not have any debt you know I don't like having that and good thing I almost never had it the only thing I've come close to having that it's paying my phone bill

Deal with the stress now and get your college degree. Then get a good job. Relax later in life. If you don't go to college now you'll probably regret it later. Some stress is good.

@SW1M1NGH0L3 I'm doing Law at Uni but I honestly coasted school to get here, surprised I didn't get kicked out for attendance issues 😂. I've learnt a lot in my first two months but I want a fresh start at year 1 again. I've already missed an assignment and I don't want to practise law in this country. I just don't work hard at school. Being real with myself I don't know that I would become a lawyer with my work ethic. I've been fired from 2 jobs aswell 😂. I work hard physically but not academically. I also don't want to spend my young adult life working loads. In fact being honest I don't want to work loads at any point 😂.

@@jr5993 I agree with you , but yk you won’t be able to use your physical strength later in life due to ur age so it’s better to get a job that is needs less physical strength , I hope you will be able to pass and become a great lawyer

It’s obviously dependent on your opportunities if you have connections and the ability to experience a profession then skip college. College is not only a place to learn but a place to find and build opportunities so if you have none then you should go.

@anirobledo2465 pretty much 😂. I'm so lost right now. It's midnight and I'm sat here thinking about wtf I'm going to do. I'm first year law but I just missed an assignment. I do almost no work outside of Uni. I honestly coasted to get here. I dont want to stay in this cold country more than a year. I'm going to enjoy my time here but I'm getting tf out after this year. I'll probably transfer Unis cause I'm honest with myself the only other option I can think of right now is working part time jobs in England or Spain.

In the UK you don't have to pay back student loans unless you are in a certain income bracket. I'm dropping out and starting at a new Uni. I might do that a few times. Anything to not have to work 😂

Yeah, I had to pay for my classes, pay for a textbook and then pay for a lab that cost extra 300$ after I already paid for the class. Basically it was a hidden fee that we didn’t know about.
