My cat died in March. I don't have any pets now, and I've never experienced that in my life. Not just with grieving, but I can feel the change of not having a pet. I don't have anyone to say "hi" to and I don't have anyone to say "would you like to come in the bathroom with me" to. I can't have pets here and having a cat again is now a huge goal of mine. I miss my cat a lot. She was my friend for 17 years.

Kinda hurts to watch this, I witnessed my cat dying today because of an irresponsible vet, he was a disabled cat, blind and had swimmer legs but was full of love, never stopped purring. Rest in Peace lil' Phil.

When I was 11, my parents got me a Miniature Pinscher to help with my confidence. Now she's five years old and has grown to be my closest companion.

I did many papers in college on pet therapy or pet ownership. It reduces bp, anixety, depression, helps with arthritis, live longer, etc. I too saw the benefits of having a cat. Long story short, my grandma passed from colon cancer. She raised me as a young child into adulthood, when she passed I felt anixious, depressed, and definitely lonely. Fiesta found me in the shelter and I adopted her. She has changed my life. I've been dignosed with anxiety and depression. I am on medications for it but she helps me battle the demons of these mental illnesses. Not only did she help me cope with my grandma's loss, she helps me to live. So yes owning a pet can definitely change the prespective of your life.

Pets are literally the BEST thing ever!

Depending on my mood, every time I watch these videos the '2 sniffs' sound in the intro sounds like either: a) Someone sniffling after crying for a while, b) Someone sniffing their food right before digging in, or c) Someone sniffling a few seconds after they've just done a line of cocaine. The 'breathing noise' sounds like either: a) Someone breathing.

Best pets that cost less yearly than a Dog or Cat are definitely Guinea Pigs. Your two new buddies are very entertaining and fun to watch running around in thier play pin. Just be sure to get two: guineas need a guinea pig companion to feel complete. ❤

Theyre cool. They are unpredictable tho. But theyre pretty bad ass in their own ways. They dont ever do things on demand ... But they do surprise me tho. Galaxy Fox 27 several years ago on the cats busiest day, we found AT LEAST 10 dead mice scattered around the yard and then I found the head of a rabbit. It... was a pretty clean rip. There was no blood in the area, so cat put it there as a present.

Speaking as a person who has many, many *many* pets, once the novelty wears off it'a just something to take care of, especially with exotics. I currently own: 2 dogs, 2 finch's, 2 ducks, 2 chickens, and hopefully a pigeon pretty soon. I've been described as anything from a animal lover to a animal hoarder, whenever I get bored I have a intense desire to get some sort of pet. I'd say my 'motherly instict' is a horomone fuck up but I'm no docter. At times all the responsibility can be overwhelming, To be honest I take better care of my animals then I do myself, but if I got rid of them all I'd just drive to the nearest petsmart and pick up some new ones within the week. All in all I'd say it's worth the sacrafices, get a pet or two.

I got an emotional support puppy and it was the best thing ever. It really did help me out. Ofc my family and I talked about it nd how much responsibility there would be but thankfully it turned out well

Bunnies are the most demanding of all pets and they live forever. THEY ARE NOT EASY!!!

I want a pet but I’m allergic to almost everything. cats I’m not allergic to but I feel like they are just demonic little creature that treat me as a slave. But I do have this piece/strand? Of grass that is sitting on my window sill (contained like any other plant you would have). After a while I got curious about plants and are they intelligent. So after a hour of looking at the internet i was confident that plants can hear, see, smell, feel, and possibly think. This made me feel strange about plants.... they don’t have any proof that they act like us with feelings but it’s still a possibility. Now I’ll look at plants as if I was looking at a animal rather than dirt. It made me feel a bit better. Also that grass seems immortal because in the morning I’ll see it get a little brown then the next day it’s fine. Winter is soon and I’m kind of sad that there is a possibility it will die. Some people think I’m insane when I a say plants are intelligent others are fascinated.

I got an kitty like 3 months ago and i’m getting a puppy in like a month. My cat have helped me so much. She makes me move more and when i’m crying she usually goes too me. She has also helped me with social anxiety. Damn i love my kitty hoe.

Iammostwanted Rabbits take a lot of time to bond with. Being rodents, they are naturally afraid of anything bigger than them. Just have to prove to the rabbit that you are a friend. Some fresh organic parsley doesn't hurt.

I had pets. But it's a long story. I wanna get pets again, but, I'm a total clean freak. I love cats, but the litterbox part sucks. They pee in it. Then they get on your bed, and their ass isn't even clean. They go there again and soon, all your house is covered in tiny cat pee particles.

A pet would be nice. Small appartement, so anything that need space is out of Question. 10th floor...so anything that isn´t smart enough to understand the concept of High and Death through falling is out of Question too ^^' That leave me anything in a Cage, Aquarium or Terrarium. Not the Fish-type, so maybe lizards? Still thinking about the whole pet Thing :/

why is feeding with live food a problem? Ôo Heat shouldn´t be the problem here XD On a normal day, even with open balcony-door, i don´t get the temperature below 20°C. In summer, i can easily achieve 30°C and more x.x Thx for the idea :) I will keep bearded Dragons in mind ^.^

Fancy rats are incredible. They're like tiny dogs, love affection, curl up in your sweater and they don't bite. Life span is around two years.

You can also put a protection grid in the windows and have a dog, a cat, a bird, etc. There are many types of pets that go well in apartments. In your place, I would try to pick one that does not make a lot of mess or poop all over, but because I'm too lazy to clean it up xD

because of work, i wouldn´t have the time to walk with a dog, if it´s needed. A Cat is an animal that likes it to be free and wandering around. As a said, better no animal that need space, so no Dog or Cat ( sadly, because i like cats).

Fish are pretty cool pets :'0 but as for lizards (and reptiles in general) I suggest crested geckos and ball pythons (and pretty much any beginner snake). You might also want to consider rodents since they're small and live in cages. Fancy rats are incredibly smart and love to learn, play and snuggle. I've heard guinea pigs make good pets too :D

My chichilla doesn't love me...

Bc they dont know anything more other to survive. But learning to love is just a bonus to them. & Thats how they communicate w/ humans. To pick up on emotions/&actions only. Well, & other things humans are oblivious too. But deep down, isnt that what all beings want? Ummm 🤔 more meaning?! ... Anyways, They keeps it simple. & In return, give more meaning to life of the universessness. Humans can learn a thing or two from them. Its so rewarding when they return their affections tho. In their own ways. The spirits of my rugrats always reminds me the guesstimate of their ages 😁... & How content ive made them. & How safe i make em feel. & How ive never broken that 😭... Dey so fragile. although, I truly do hate it for the pets who were cursed w/their loyalties... & their owners/humans are complete p.o.s's. When everything else is shitty, i just turn to my pets. They be like ? Whatever youre rutt youre in, get out of it. Also, dont forget to feed us and stuff _popcorn. Pitter patters, & zoomies_ . For all the other humans that think theyre above pets, ... This is why ppl have em. Bc ppl like u suck. Yw 😁

Also if ur thinking of getting a cat, please consider a Black Cat, since they are the least likely to get adopted and as a result can often end up being euthanized or be there for so many years :-( Even tho black cats bring GOOD luck, not bad & ward off evil, rather that attract it. If my mom didn't let me have pets I probably would've ended up being unstable and narcissistic like my dad or in some mental hospital, it's probably been between my mom and my pets that have been the ones to teach me about emotions as a kid, also since I hate sports the only activity I enjoy doing outside is walking the dogs, so if I wasn't doing that I wouldn't be exercising at all, so for any good parent out there please do your research and get your child a pet, it also teaches them responsibility something the average public school won't teach them

Fur-Fox Yes!! Two Betas. I have thier tanks next to each other. Tank cleaning day isn't anyone's favorite, but I do love buying them plants and watching them interact. My younger one even swims laps in her tank while the other sits in a plant near the tank wall watching her.

I love both of them, but I lean more towards cats. They're just so... calm, and will just chill there with you on your lap as you sit, on your stomach as you lay down, and in the crook of your legs as you sleep.

All true, but unfortunately caring for cats and dogs means feeding them meat - goodbye 3 cows for each dog - not good for the animals. I suggest vegetarian pets - house rabbits are mega cute and loving
