I've been wrestling with whether to bottle feed the babies or do some kind of split where the babies are with their Nanny part of the day after a few weeks. Your video helped me decide. We're in the very hilly country in Ecuador with beautiful weather all year long. So cold or hot weather is not an issue. I am wondering when you pull the babies from their mother so they still get that all important colostrum. Do you pull the kids after they get their first drink of colostrum from mommy or after first day or when? Thanks.

So glad this video helped you make your decision! Typically we pull the baby immediately, milk the mom out and then feed the baby the colostrum ourselves.

Hi Thanks for your informative videos. Could you please explain why you feed them cows milk instead of goat milk? It seems counter productive?..

Not a good reason . The babies should be nurtured by their mothers. This is still exploitation of these animals. You just want to make money with your petting zoo.And your milk and cheese. Regardless of the animals feelings. You know what they would prefer.
