Wow, I love this accent and this down to earth hardships stories, the scene in the beginning with cracked neck was so unexpected and shocking I've never seen in any other film...so I'm looking forward to the rest

That scene with the woman from the missing goats and the daughter of messed up family was so well done! The older woman instinctively knew to fear the girl, this supernatural powers of hers wasn't obviously from God, but from the demonic realm and the woman knew she's on dangerous territory not to offend the witch, very good dynamic in this scene

These actors are very good to be delivering lines so amateurishly!

I enjoyed this movie and since its a true story made it even creepier than a made up story...just think they could have carried on doing that at their new place...🤨🤨

Laura Ingalls Wilder once, and only once, commented that her father had been part of a group that went to "take care of them". With all the wide open space, and few people it would've been difficult to police them.

So I thought they were eating the people...but they were just feeding the pigs? And fertilizing the apple trees... Sorry I'm confused...
