Loving people is loving people and if you find yourself not loving a particular group of people you may want to ask yourself when you started doing that and why
"I barely made it out alive of my childhood, but I did because I had a little bit of access to this glimpse of a world outside that would accept me for who I am...not just in spite of who I am, but BECAUSE of who I am" - BenDeLaCreme So powerful. It really pulls into focus what a sad and violent culture is normalized and perpetuated by a dominant culture sorely lacking in true freedom and love for life in all of its very natural, diverse, and *beautiful* forms.

I believe that this is an underlying point of the push to deny the existence of LGBTQIA+ folks. I think Al was playing dumb on purpose. It allowed Ben to lead the conversation, as Al asked the remedial questions. He is not ignorant of this subject.

@@DonoVideoProductions I used to think that, too, but he's been doing that for decades. And it really didn't improve his interview style, either. I understand why interviewers prompt guests in that way, but I think he's a pretty conservative guy tbh. Not a bad person per se, but very buttoned-up.

@@nartyteek I certainly don't think he's the best at this show position. His delivery is too laconic.
Thank you for speaking on this!
BenDeLa is a GREAT spokesperson. She is so clear in simplifying understanding of complex topics. BenDeLa for President!
DeLa is amazing. She should’ve hosted this week. Al didn’t even prepare for this interview.
