Why do nice press brakes make me miss the big old 12' 300Ton STANDARD being man handled by sheets of 3/8" 8'x10' bump braked into a cone in 100 degree weather with 80% humidity and no wind haha

A nice feature to add to these would be a laser line projected from the top die holder, so you have a "keep your damn hands out of here" line projected on the material. Those guys had their hands awful close to the "don't even go to the doctor" line.

haha, yea they all run that smaller brake daily, I was there watching them, they didnt appear to be doing anything unsafe in person

The brakes in my day, factory or truck shop had a foot pedal across the front, they were Mechanical tripped. Ya better be right cause there was No Erasure. Watch yer fingers cause it didn't stop until it completed the cycle. A box brake was just a bit more forgiving... but watch yer fingers. This machine is beautiful! Almost enough to make me want to go try it out. Becareful guys!🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸👍

I see the guys moving the backguages manually do these pressees have an x axis that moves the backstops to make tandum setups easier?

The next model up is a 6+1 axis with 3D controller with programmable backstop positions

Yea they were machining a bunch of parts for their truck builds, but now laser cut most of it, they still use it some...

This might be a dumb question but do you know if your clients are using SBA loans to finance the laser and press brake?

I think a few have tried it, but most get very frustrated with the SBA process. I no longer participate in it, meaning when someone is trying to use SBA, they will make me jump through hoops with all kinds of info, and it never works out

no one wears boots anymore in shops like this... its really not necessary. Just like they also dont wear hard hats
